We always get pizza, salad and an appetizer here. We love the classic Greek salad, the fresh and tasty pizzas and our absolutely amazing server! Our whole family eats well, leaves full and happy and has enough to take home for leftovers. Even when we stray from our usual we are always pleased.
Thank you, Souvlaki House for being our family favorite comfort food spot!

Can get busy, but staff is very friendly and attentive. Dinners come with large salad bowl & bread for the table. Large selection of pizza and pastas, and large portions. All of the food is very good. Calamari was fried perfectly (not hard or greasy). Grilled chicken was tender and delicious. Chicken Parmesan and chicken piccatti was also tender and delicious.

The food was not great. My girlfriend and I ordered delivery. I got the beef souvlaki platter and my girlfriend got the lamb souvlaki platter. Both were extremely dry and the quality of the meat on both the lamb and beef were subpar. The food did not look great aesthetically either. For the amount of money that we spent the food we received was not up to par. We also got calamari and it seemed like it was just frozen calamari that they tossed into a fryer. I’m sure the staff and owners are great people and it seems to have so many glowing reviews, but I did not receive that same quality.

My Cornell alum boyfriend came here to see if this place had stood the test of time. Happy to say that it was great! Got the steak pizzaiola and a gyro. We were very pleased. Thanks for the lovely time!

Good Greek food. Worth a visit when in Ithaca. Seems
Like a family run business and it was cute to see the little
Kids helping the parents at the front counter

This is one of our favorite go-to places. My sister loves the greek, I enjoyed the italian. Took my adult kids there and they had a good time. Due to the size indoors we were very limited on Elbow Room but the food is always good and worth a visit

Ah, Souvlaki House. Picture it. Ithaca, 1992. A group of freshmen stumble in after a night of orientation parties for a late night snack. One, a simple country boy from Connecticut, orders an omelet. In his state, he’s more amused than revolted to find a large black cricket tucked into the cheesy molten delight. After hailing a server, the swarthy chef emerges from the kitchen and delivers, in a perfect Seinfeldian accent, the accusation, “You put that there! My omelettes do not come with crickets! How dare you insult my kitchen?” My perfectly sincere and innocent shock at the accusation must have been convincing enough to get a replacement or freebie—I forget which—but the incident lives on in my fondest memories of my first week on the Hill. 4 stars for atmosphere, 2 stars for the accusation (would have been one but the delivery was so pitch perfect that it must have been part of the schtick). Will have to try it again someday.

Bang average, sometimes subpar Italian food. Pasta is not fresh hand made pasta. Quality of the oil is not great. Again for college town standards, it’s good but if it were in a city, I would pass. Workers are nice tho!

Modestly priced/generous portions/ lots of Choices and flexible hours make this “local” favorite an easy choice.Atmosphere is a pleasant throwback to an earlier less stressful era.
Look no further and enjoy the Pizza !
