They burned my food and served it to me.

Sadly I never send food back and was able to eat 75% of it.

But definitely overcooked and clearly burned.

One of the only times I didn't pick the plate to finish my food.

My issue is more the fact that, when food is that burned it means ur cook push it past expo/chef and the server still served it.

Otherwise nice place

In a city with few authentic Chinese options, this is as close as you can get to authentic Cantonese Chinese food. The waiter, who was a Chinese Northerner, could even speak and understand a little Cantonese.

Very unappreciative workers. The waiter came back to my table because he didn't like the tip that he received. He had confronted me and told me to put it on a credit card. I only had a certain amount of cash on me. He was rude from the beginning to the end of my visit. I will never go to this restaurant again. Very rude for someone to request any type of a tip especially if they didn't do anything and was very rude.

Stopped by for lunch on the way to a park. All of us enjoyed our food. Was as good as our old favorite local Sichuan place from Queens.

Nice to have some Sichuan food on our way through Ithaca. I wish they had more traditional options (as opposed to the popular American ones), but I understand that they have to sell the things that will keep them in business. (For instance, I would love 麻辣香锅!!) The pork belly sizzling pot was really good, and the Singapore noodles were spicy and they allowed us to get it vegetarian (though they also left out the egg and charged the same amount as the meaty dish). Tea is charged here, as is each additional bowl of white rice. Somewhat typical after covid, but I really wish that wasn't the case. I'm trying to avoid commenting directly on price because you can see portion size and price plainly in my pictures. They were very friendly and there are lots of menu options in general. A good 粥 would be a plus for me, as would 涼菜. But maybe the customer base isn't there (or you just ask for it, and it isn't on the menu ?). Not a bad option for little Ithaca, but don't expect the stars lile you might get in larger cities (like Rochester -- Yummy Garden Hot Pot has it all!!).

The food isn’t good. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want authentic Chinese food.

We ordered the beef in hot sauce, beef and radish casserole and a vegetable dish. The two meat dishes were way too salty. The beef in hot sauce was a huge letdown. It tasted nothing but saltiness. The casserole dish had pretty good flavors but also very salty. The beef and radishes were nice and tender. Did I mention it was too salty?

Service is bare minimum as you would expect in most similar Chinese restaurants.

This is a great place to get Sichuan food in Ithaca. I really enjoyed all their dishes. Their lamb was great. Their whole fish was very tender. I loved the egg drop soup. We had some dumplings in spicy sauce which was yummy. And the potato’s in their stir-fried shredded potato dish was crispy and savory.

The service was good. We went during a weekend evening in the summer and the place was not busy. The service was prompt. Note: Not all of the staff speaks Mandarin. The first waitress we did spoke Mandarin but we had another person who served our table who did not.

The inside of the restaurant is like a typical Chinese restaurant. There is also plenty of tables and seating inside.

There is a parking lot outside the restaurant so we parked there. We did not have trouble finding parking (albeit we didn’t go when it was very busy).
