In a city with few authentic Chinese options, this is as close as you can get to authentic Cantonese Chinese food. The waiter, who was a Chinese Northerner, could even speak and understand a little Cantonese.
Nice to have some Sichuan food on our way through Ithaca. I wish they had more traditional options (as opposed to the popular American ones), but I understand that they have to sell the things that will keep them in business. (For instance, I would love 麻辣香锅!!) This is a great place to get Sichuan food in Ithaca. I really enjoyed all their dishes. Their lamb was great. Their whole fish was very tender. I loved the egg drop soup. We had some dumplings in spicy sauce which was yummy. And the potato’s in their stir-fried shredded potato dish was crispy and savory.
