Food was not good (unanimous at our table of 3). Options also far too limited. And $30/entree w/o salad is exorbitant for what was served. Server was very nice and attentive. Atmosphere ok but somewhat rundown.

We walked into a rundown building. The hostess/server quickly got us a table but that was where the good things ended. The menu is completely different than online. They only offer 3 appetizers and 3 entrees, 2 of which being pasta. My wife had the salmon which was definitely frozen beforehand. I had the pappardele with pesto and veggies. The only vegetable was 3 cherry tomatoes on the rim of the place and half a cup of pasta. It cost 29 dollars!!! Save your money and go into the city of Ithaca for dinner.

The creamers offered for coffee were expired/ spoiled.
I ordered my burger well-done for medical reasons and it was medium rare. It also arrived 10 minutes after my party’s food came out.
When these concerns were brought to the attention of the waitress, she said thank you and did not apologize for the errors. They did take my meal off the bill. In addition, they also added a 27.5% tip to the bill.

We stayed at LaTourelle a few years ago and had enjoyed the breakfast so much that we went out of our way to make a breakfast reservation when we were visiting. The cafe structure is in need of refreshing; had a very attentive and helpful server - but menu has changed for the worse. The French toast was dry and mediocre in contrast to the memorable pancakes of past. Hope you will bring them back and/or add waffles!
Had a great time, Grace was our server and was great! We had a great chat with her and she was very attentive to us! The food was also very good and wasn't too expensive either ! It's was relatively quiet! That might be helped by the fact that there's 4 separate dining areas at the bistro, so everyone can be spread out. I definitely Recommend this place for a good brunch!
We have regularly enjoyed brunch at La Tourelle over the years, but a recent visit was a disappointment, and quality has evidently slipped. 4 of the main dishes on the menu were not available at noon on a Sunday because the kitchen was out of the main ingredients. That's pretty poor planning for a brunch establishment. Worse yet, diners were not informed of this when seated. We of course had set our sights on the items which were not available and had to select other dishes, which we could have done in the first place had we been informed. The food itself was adequate, but showed little flair or creativity. Service was courteous but a bit too leisurely. It's also disappointing that the restaurant building itself is not being well maintained. There is peeling paint on the exterior, the shrubbery and walkways were unkempt, and the interior just looks run down - scuffed paint, loose moldings rickety furniture. The floor and the table were sticky. It's not what one expects of a high-end establishment, especially at this price point.
Friendly, efficient servers and wonderful breakfasts.

The food at this exceptional restaurant is so outstanding that it deserves a 6th star. We had French onion soup, followed by the short rib and salmon with cheesecake for dessert as we watched the sun set from the patio. It was an unforgettable and priceless dining experience.

The food and service were good, the facility - not so much. The building needs some maintenance work, and the driveway was under repair. With a little TLC, this would be a great place.
I ordered some food takeout from The Bistro at La Tourelle and received excellent service from Ambra. She was kind, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure that what I chose fit with my dietary restrictions and preferences. Her service was exceptional!

Love the ambience and the local owners but unfortunately the dining experience left a lot to be desired. Our waitress was very scattered brained and never placed our orders in front of the person who actually ordered it( there were only 3 of us). Food was okay. Spinach salad and sweet potato fries were excellent but the burger was dry and tasteless ( ordered medium and got well done), tomato and cucumber salad was drowned in dressing, short ribs (unlike any other short ribs) was like a big piece of dry roast and was very mediocre and garlic mashed potatoes were nothing special. I will give them another try but will not order any beef as they don't know how to prepare it.
Went there for brunch today and walked out disappointed. I ordered eggs Benedict. The potatoes were food service cubed potatoes and the eggs were hard boiled in a poaching cup, so they were perfectly round and had no yolk to run out. The hollandaise was thin and disappointing and the ham, well it was ham.My wife had the French toast with berries and such on top, and she said it was very good. The bloody Mary was good.Even though it wasn't busy, they seemed understaffed, because our poor waitress was literally running back-and-forth behind us all throughout breakfast. No hate, though she was very nice and did a good job with what she had to work with.

Great food. Great space. Terrible waitress. Acted like we were bothering her. She did not check on us except to try to give us the check after 20 minutes. We would give this 5 stars overall except for waitress. This was very unusual. Always before staff has been amazing
