Great drinks and very tasty eats make this a great spot to watch a game or just hang with family and friends. Be careful, however, as prices rival NYC.

Normally at any place you can pick an item out of the receipt that you might’ve found unsatisfactory to some degree. Impossible for us here. Really well done.

This is a pleasant but very ordinary hotel that is way over-priced. I paid almost $800 for a double room that was small and almost cramped. I had assumed because of the very high price that the room would at least be spacious. Having stayed in luxury hotels in many places, i have never paid so much and received so little in return. The explanation was that this was high season, and so the price was also high. But there should be a limit to how much can be charged for a very ordinary room. Never again.
Very nice hotel with attentive staff. My only complaint was the fitness facility was very, very small. Could have given 5 stars but it was incredibly expensive for what it was (and being in Ithaca, NY, not Manhattan). Of course, being on campus is advantageous.
We stayed for one night with child and the experience was good. Its pricy though with breakfast and parking not included but with payment you get the best of both. The location, the ambiance and the overall is a very good experience
This is my second stay at the Statler property which is on Cornell campus and is staffed with many Cornell students, especially those that are from the School of Hotel Admim. As guests, you are in the heart of the Cornell campus. Perfect if visiting the university. Fall is the best season to visit with the seasonal fall foliage. Rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. Nice lounge with drinks and snacks. Cornell Red color scheme is everywhere.
The Statler Hotel was the perfect place to stay while visiting Cornell. The location on campus can’t be beat in terms of being in the middle of campus allowing an easy walk to all the campus has to offer. It was also an easy walk to Collegetown for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The rooms were immaculate, well designed, and comfortable. The view from the Tower rooms is amazing. The service was excellent as well. I commented to my husband that the experience is so different when a hotel is staffed with people who want to work there and make it a good experience for guests.
Location is great, hotel is pretty clean and it's a safe area. They changed the soap , shampoo and conditioner into large containers in the shower. The body wash and shampoo were empty when I went to take a shower the next morning. When you charge the rates they charge I expect to have soap and shampoo in my room. Management is asleep at the wheel, poor job of not checking the rooms.

You cannot beat the convenience of this hotel relative to campus. It's also pretty magical to see the student based staff working hard to make sure guests are satisfied and comfortable. It was one of the best hotel staff experience's I have ever had! There are multiple options for dining that are right on site, and the food was delicious. Ample conference room space as well. Lastly, the guest room was spacious and comfortable.

Amazing service, everyone was extremely friendly and kind, especially the front desk. We wanted to walk around and the front desk personnel recommended the perfect route and everyone was always happy to help. The room was really nice and it was a great feeling staying on the Cornell campus specially if you're an incoming student who wants to visit the campus.
Everyone was kind and courteous, from the valet to the front desk to our waiter during breakfast. We asked if we could possibly get the view facing the clock tower, and we were moved to the 9th floor. The room was very clean and had the view we were hoping for. The beds were comfortable; all was quiet at night. We enjoyed our breakfast the following morning. This was a nice experience for my son who was visiting the university. The location can't be beat!
Daniel the driver is a star. John and his team at the restaurant are great. The bar team are generally welcoming and warm… The front office team is terrible, cold, unhelpful, and unfriendly, they will not go the extra mile for you. “The premier hotel that teaches” is their slogan, and they have a lot of basic Hospitality learning to do. How Cornell hospitality can associate their brand with them is beyond my understanding… *Try get laundry service at this hotel; it’s a joke…
