I submitted a request very last minute for a cake that I needed for the next day. My grandpa turned 89 and decided he wanted a birthday party instead of the quiet dinner we had originally planned. Andrea was so kind and immediately called to inquire about what I wanted, and made time in her busy schedule to make a cake for us. I would recommend her to anyone and I will definitely be returning (with more notice!) for our other family celebrations!

We chose Full Moon Rising to make our wedding cake and desserts, and Andrea and her team did an incredible job! This bakery is so good, and as we looked for cake options, Full Moon Rising gave us exactly what we were looking for! We ended up with a two tier cake - with the top toer being lemon raspberry and bottom tier being banana with peanut butter filling. The cake itself was gorgeous - the all-white vintage look we were going for. We also chose various cupcake flavors and cookie flavors that our guests LOVED in addition to chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered strawberries, and mini pies. They were all DELICIOUS! The cookies even came individually wrapped so guests could take some home. We’re looking forward to enjoying some desserts from Full Moon Rising for our anniversary in the future!

We met the owner while there who was absolutely lovely! This shop is so charming with a great energy and vibe. It’s funky, it’s fabulous and so fun to go! We bought too many goodies while there but we just couldn’t walk away, everything looked so good! And it was!!! 20/10 would recommend visiting and bringing your stretchy pants.

I love this bakery SO much. I rant and rave (positively) about this place to anyone I can. Their dessert selection is out of this world. I am picky on flavors and I can always find something I won't just like but LOVE. I am a fan of their desserts in a cup, particularly the strawberry cheesecake. But if you don't like cheesecake, no worries! They have cupcakes in a cup, pie, or so many other flavors. Trust me when I say that you canNOT go wrong here. My wife doesn't like icing but she couldn't get enough of it. I love that this business is woman owned as well! Perfect place for me.

It’s my favorite place in Jamestown. The owner is awesome and accommodating. Never a problem with ordering and picking up. Everything I’ve ever had here has been top tier. My wife and I plan our days around when this bakery is open.

Recently, my friend tried to get some cookies for her daughters birthday. She ended up calling and reserving these cookies on January 6. She waited multiple days to get a response and without one she decided to go into the shop, the owner of the shop told her that she cannot pay at the shop in person. Well, she was picking up the cookies and the order got canceled. That’s just what I have experienced secondhand but personally, I have also dealt with the owners daughter. Who is a manipulator and a liar and likes to hurt others for fun. In 2021 her daughter started bullying me and even took baby pictures of mine and put cuts all over them. I brought my dad to the attention of this, and he tried to get a hold of the mother, but she proceeded to ignore these accusations brought upon her daughter, and instead of talking about it she screamed at us the one time I saw her in public. I do not recommend this bakery they are overpriced, and not only that they will steal your money and your dignity.

Very unprofessional and unreliable. Often cancels orders last minute. Quality of products have gone way down hillI placed an order January 6th. I had to message her over and over again and after 16 days she finally sent me an invoice. Within 10 days she canceled my invoice via email 2 days before pick up. She had other means of contacting me and did not.At no point did she stipulate a period of time that the invoice needed paid so i was under the impression I could pay at pick up. I went to pay the invoice and saw it was canceled. I reached out to her and got no response. so I called the store which she also did not answer and left a voicemail explaining I was going to post a review because what she did was wrong and very unprofessional at which point she contacted me via Facebook and told me she had expectations of being paid that she had never communicated.After my experience and talking eith people about it I've realized this is nothing new. She's an unreliable business owner.
