I LOVE going to Havana! Great authentic food, great atmosphere, great location! My out-of-town family and friends always want to go back to Havana when they are visiting. I went to high school with the owner, Ruben Hernandez. You won't meet a nicer, more genuine gentleman. Together, Ruben and his mother run Havana, and they represent the best of Jamestown, NY and everything that is good about our hometown community!
We discovered this gem of a restaurant in Jamestown a couple of years ago. When my family comes from Pittsburgh it is one of our favorite places to eat. We like to support small local businesses and Ruben and his mom and their cafe are a wonderful addition to our area. The homemade food and welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back!
Small portions, expensive, Nothing special foodwise. However the memoribilia in the restaurant is very interesting. The owner spends time submitting his own reviews over and over again. We had empanadas that were not homemade and Cubans that were average, even a little small. The place is an easy lunch for downtown workers. Will not be back, but it's a must for 1 time as the trinkets are cool
