People in Olean want a Wegmans, but Olean apparently can’t even sustain a Park n Shop anymore as of the past year. So we just go on over to Jamestown to go to Wegmans. There are several different Wegmans to go to in this particular federal probation district so I will inform the rest of my fellow undercover agents where to find potential probation violators if they go to a Wegmans outside their probation region.

The self checkouts have now been made to accept cards only. They no longer except cash so for all those people that only have cash, they have to wait in the extremely long lines just to check out. Half the time they only have two maybe three cashiers working and the lines are distributed up the middle of the aisle next to the register where you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes just to get through the lines. What about all those people, who only have one item? Or those people that are not able to get a credit card or a bank account because those people do exist! It was wrong for Wegmans to assume that all people have credit cards, and have completely disregarded those who are not as fortunate as others. I feel like it’s discrimination. I shop there all the time, well, I used to. I don’t enjoy going in when all I need is one or two items and I don’t wish to use my card. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Thank you Wegmans for screwing the little people!

I was really excited that there was a gluten free sub option available since there are very few places I can eat. My first attempt to order included my being hung up on (I am sure accidentally) and the phone ringing at least 12 times when I tried back. My second attempt involved getting the catering answering machine and having to call the service desk to get put through to get put on hold long enough that I hung up frustrated. My third attempt I was in the store. I placed my order and the staff person informed me that they were out of gf rolls. I left annoyed and deciding that was it. But a few days later I found myself back in the store and tried one more time. I finally got one! And it was amazing. The sub tasted great. So today I decided to get another one. I tried to use the ToGo app but couldn't find gluten free for the sub roll options. So I called to order my sub. While on the phone I asked if it was possible to order GF on the app. They told me no. So I asked if I could park in the curbside parking. I was told only the people who order through the app can use that service. So while I loved the subs, Wegmans gets 1 star for the terrible customer service that I received.

I have travelled the country and can not find a better chain of grocery stores. It is clean. The produce is top notch and wonderfully displayed. They have meats that are not pumped with hormones - (Their label " beef you feel good about"). They have a wonderful bakery. Also a natural food mart with a variety of products you don't find anywhere else. They do have a sit down eat in area, but I just go there to grocery shop.

There are usually 5 soups offered as well as an extensive salad bar, vegetarian bar & Asian. Great spot to grab a bite while shoppin. I quite often meet friends there for lunch.

Love love love Wegmans. Wish we had one in Ohio. We were on our way back from Niagara Falls, decided to stop here for some lunch. The skinny lobster roll was one of the best I’d ever had. The clam chowder was great. Good stop.

Beautiful store with a huge food court. We had a large grinder made to split and it was good as always. We also tried a piece of pizza and that was also good. They have hot dishes with Asian food and just about anything that you can think of. The bakery has a great selection of fresh baked products - good muffins, bagels and we bought a delicious carrot cake to bring over to a friend's house for dessert. Explore the store after eating. If you have never been to one you will keep going back after your first visit!
the selection is wide and the store is clean, employees are friendly. The cafe is amazing if you love coffee (wide selection as well). The deli makes excellent subs (hot or cold)

Wegmans is one of the best grocery stores in the area. They have a great selection of foods: organic and made to order. I will admit that you should avoid going on Tuesday and Sunday afternoons.
