Been driving by this great spot for years and yesterday I finally went in with my wife and daughter for a quick bite to eat. What a fantastic surprise...to find such a gem right in our backyard. I love this diner. Maria, the owner, is so sweet and appreciative every time we are there. It is a perfect place to catch up with friends because you are never rushed. My favorite breakfast item is the bananas foster french toast and for lunch the apple chicken wrap. You will not be disappointed.
We stopped as a convenient meal option near the Taconic. The reviews seemed good, but we wouldn’t go there again. Service was very sweet and friendly, but very slow. We ordered kid’s Mac and cheese, my kid liked it, and said it tasted just like the box kind. I ordered the soup and half a sandwich.
I’d wanted a wrap sandwich, but it hey didn’t include that in the soup and half sandwich combo, so I ordered a sandwich I wasn’t as interested in.
