Best bagels outside of Brooklyn! You can order online and pick up and go or you can eat in. There are other food offerings besides bagels that are excellent. The bathroom is always clean. Very busy during lunch hours.

Very disappointed that I called to tell them they left out part of my order and the person didn’t even attempt to make the order correct, just a quick sorry and could care a less and this place is expensive- which is ok if the food and service is good-not good at all. Being busy isn’t a good excuse to give sub par food and service . The picture I post was supposed to be hash browns- of which I ordered 2, they were inedible, mushy and so greasy! They didn’t toast the bagels as ordered on the sandwiches and they didn’t have the cinnamon buns I ordered. Go to The Somers common location, they are much better!!

They refuse to write down orders and mess up the order every single time. I spoke to the owner and they are still not writing down orders. Also they charge more than other places and only put one egg on the Bacon egg and cheese sandwich

Horrible last week the bacon was burnt so bad inedible. I figured I would give them another chance the corn muffin is incinerated completely black all throughout . How do you put that in some ones bag. Tried to call no answer. Horrible place

We love JV Hot Bagels, it's simply the best. We enjoy the bagels, lox, breakfast sandwiches. The rainbow bagels make our children’s day. Don't forget to add on a black and white, and rainbow sprinkle cookie.

I personally have been here once, now twice counting today! I enjoy the delicious food and fast service. My family has a preference for this spot and it is for good reason.

I love the NY bagels. I am only turned off that at the door they have a homeless man opening and closing the door and that to me is not good business, not sure o would return just due to that. I don't want to feel i have to tip or buy him anything. Not being mean just feel isn't right.

A pretty standard bagel experience. Definitely a New York bagel, but nothing to write home about. Maybe my standards are skewed because I grew up in South Brooklyn. Man I would kill for a Hot Bagels and a Chock, but the Q doesn't go to the Hudson Valley, unfortunately.
Anyway, this place is fine and will do the trick. Although my wife says they gave her bad cream cheese once, but I'll let her write her own review if she sees fit.
