Great little restaurant. Went for dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The Waitress was very quick with getting our drinks, then the appetizer followed by our meal. The Ribeye Steak was very flavorful as its sides. The cost was very affordable too given the quality of our meal.

Best tavern (actually…one of the best restaurants I’ve dined in) upstate. Great staff!!! Lovely atmosphere, so cozy. Delicious, fresh, uniquely flavored and prepared takes on tavern classics… and then some. We got the mac & cheese, the grilled fish, & the ribs.

I ordered the Ribeye. When it came out, and I tried my first bite, I asked our bartender Samantha if the chef wasn't too busy to come out to see me so I could shake his hand. Michael came out of the kitchen and I shook his hand to thank him for the absolutely most perfect ribeye steak anyone could possibly order anywhere. Being conscious of his time, we chatted briefly, exchanging steak prep ideas, then I asked him if anyone ever asked him to come out to meet him. He told me I was the first. I live near Philly, visiting Jeffersonville from Cherry Hill NJ. I'm leaving this review post to encourage anyone from anywhere to stop into the Tavern On The Main to experience Michael's cooking !!! The Thursday night trivia was an interesting addition ;-)

We had heard such great things about tavern on main, but sadly we didn’t have a good experience at all. Our starters were brought out after dinner, we didn’t receive our drinks. A couple of our dinner entrees were never brought out. The meals that were brought out only had half of what was supposed to be on them or in them. Sadly we were greatly disappointed.
