Holidays is a beautiful time to have lunch here, Big mistake and I should have known better. Arrived at 11:35 AM and the door seemed to be stuck, I pushed it open and found a box of bread against the door.I pushed it away and went inside. I was told it didnt open till 12 so i asked if we could go inside and wait. Told i had to wait in the lobby which we did. 45 minutes later i again asked how much longer would it be. She said in ten minutes she would seat the long line. 10 min later she said thekitchen was not yet open but she will start seating. We and several others left. Terrible waste of time especially at this time of year when everyone is busy. Terrible that this once great establishment has gotten even worse then the last time I was there. Went to Lemon leaf restaurant(thai food), ten minutes away and it was great, no great decorations but service and food fantastic.

I went here tonight for a special occasion . It was a larger party (around 40 people). We had one of the private rooms upstairs. The room was ok, full bar was set up in the room for us, so started out pretty good. There were 4 courses served plus passed appetizers. The salad was first it was bland but ok. I can’t even guess what kind it would be called. Next was penne aka vodka. A couple of tablespoons worth but it was enough. It was not served warm at all. Next the main course came and it was also not hot at all. There were 3 choices their signature chicken which was ok but nothing I would return for. Then there was a prime rib slice or salmon. Both looked fine but all were served not warm enough. When the birthday cake was cut and served, the slices were so randomly shaped and sized. All slices were tiny and that’s fine but some people got a 2 bite piece and others got a 6-8 bite piece. The bathrooms upstairs were needing to be cleaned urgently, especially the men’s room. I would probably be willing to try one more when it wasn’t a party package. I would hope this package didn’t cost more than $50 per person but unfortunately it probably did. I had a great time seeing family but the Milleridge didn’t deliver a special experience, I was surprised because I thought they had a pretty good reputation.

We went to dinner for an early Christmas family celebration. The service was poor. Drinks came quickly, the food took forever and the waitress never returned to ask if everything was okay. The food was actually mediocre so we didn’t even order coffee and dessert. We left a great deal of the food on our plates and the waitress never asked if there was a problem. We paid over $478 for the privilege of having a really disappointing meal. We will never eat here again!

Says they’re open til 930. I’m standing here and the place is closed. Absolutely ridiculous that the whole milleridge scheduling is absurd.

Sadly went to a wedding that had no A/C. It ruined the wedding and they made no attempts to bring in fans or to apologize. Service was unprofessional and they were understaffed for bartenders. I ate my cold food and left.

Attended my friends daughter’s wedding on July 15, 2023 one of the hottest days we’ve been having in NY. The room had no working air conditioning and it made the entire event unbearable. Complaints fell on deaf ears, not even fans were supplied to maybe relieve the situation. Some of us chose to leave as the the sweating and breathing became unbearable. I deeply regret writing this review and feel bad for the bride and groom and respective families.

It was my idea to go to the Milleridge to celebrate Christmas Eve with my son's fiance's family and I knew the food was never the greatest (it was always edible at least),but we wanted the ambiance. Sadly, it was the WORST experience at a restaurant ever, starting with the hostess who ignored us while we stood in front of her for 10 minutes while she and a few other servers were talking (not about serving). Didn't say 2 words to us while seating and didn't wait for the girl with the cane or the 85 y/o woman struggling to keep up. We were seated in one of the back rooms at a table so small I had to sit directly on a corner. Half the Christmas lights were out so, ambience was thrown out the window. Food was completely unedible. Who charges $85 a plate and serves canned string beans and boxed.mashed potatoes? Gave us 2 loaves of bread for 10 people and never gave us more when asked, nor could I get a 2nd glass of water. Overpriced drinks were undrinkable and the waiter never said a word when he saw all the unfinished drinks and food that we didn't want to take home. The menu was so simple, only a few choice, even I could have done better. We paid $800 in advance and STILL got a bill for $180 before tip. The hidden charges were ridiculous. Message to the Millerdige: shame on you for insulting your patrons and the community this way. Most Long Islanders grew up with fond memories and you're ruining it. Sell it to someone who cares please

We have had dinner here many times over the last 38 years but not recently. The atmosphere and service were great. The Christmas carolers were charming. The baked clam appetizer was excellent. My husband's roast duck was delicious. The popovers were so light and yummy. My chicken pot pie was not good. The broth used ruined the dish. It had an institutional flavor. It was barely warm. The crust cover was good but also needed to be hot. The peppermint ice cream was just as I remembered. Very delicious.

So disappointing. We made a reservation on Saturday for 8 PM. WE finally got seated at 8:30 pm. The waiter took our order and served us cold bread that was supposed to be warm. We placed our order and it took almost 2 hours to get our food. We finally ate at 10:30. My husband was alarmed when we saw no food was coming out of the kitchen and no one in the dining room was getting served. Turns out they had a wedding and a holiday party at the same time time and the kitchen couldn't handle it. We got comped a few items, which was a nice gesture. The food was not good. The caesar salad was limp and unedible. My crispy duck was soggy and the accompanying carrots were old with the white on the exterior of the baby carrots. We will not return again. The Village was SOOOO over crowded and not pleasurable. The interior decorations were not impressive. So many nicer places to spend out money. We probably should've walked out, left a $20 for the waiter, and not paid our bill. BTW, there were no carolers.

I was meeting 5 friends for a Christmas dinner, and we were all looking forward to the Christmas atmosphere. Well, at least we weren’t disappointed with that. Everything else about that night was disappointing. We all chose the $58.99 prefixed menu. One of the options was soup, three people chose the French onion soup. When the soup came it didn’t have any cheese on top of it. We called the waitress over and she said. “ if you want cheese that’s $2.00 extra“. Isn’t that the whole point of French onion soup, the cheese! It does not say “cheese extra “on the menu. Although the portions were adequate, the food was very salty. At the end of the meal 4 people decided to get coffee and asked for decaf. The next day ,after consulting with each other, they realized they did not get decaf because they all were up for the entire night. That is just unacceptable for a restaurant to do. My suggestion, don’t waste your money here. We spent $84 each ( yes we all had a cocktail ) for a mediocre meal. The lovely decor at Christmas time is not worth it.

Horrible experience with the catering department. I sent an email inquiring about a holiday family dinner for 40 people. I was called back a few days later and asked if I wanted to come in. I said no I just wanted to speak over the phone about our options. I was fully prepared to book something over the phone and give a credit card deposit. I don’t live close. I was told ok someone from the banquet department will get back to you and then was hung up on. I never heard from anyone else.

Looked forward to a familiar holiday dining experience. Our waiter welcomed us warmly took our drink order and explained the Popovers are a thing of the past. The menu features several appealing but overpriced entrees with out of sight PreFix pricing. The actual food items were beyond description especially the entrees which were dry, overcooked and tasteless. The best part of our $50+ lunch was the wine, the raisin bread and the dessert. This once glorious restaurant has imploded. They need a good chef.

Booked a table with the nicest receptionist She took the time to find us a table and explain the menu , also informed us of the village and hours. Trust me I own a business and I want Jen to work for me and to be the voice of my business excellence job ! When we arrived the nasty hostess was down right disrespectful to everyone who came into contact with her. That is probably when we should of left. She kept saying I am a manager!!!!!! When someone asked her what her issue is she just gave a ugly stare. Truly so unprofessional. This person should be let go on the spot!! We watched her act out for over an hour Who would keep this nasty , unpleasant, unprofessional think at the hostess station. Liz ( we heard many employees call her that. We asked her for her name but she would not tell us. Well Liz we now know. Took 1 hr after we arrived. I know she passed us by. With that we went up to her said excuse me LIZ , her response was don’t use my name !!really? We walked out. I hope someone sees this and my god let’s her go. Such an ugly person inside and out ?

I was there for business meeting. I had to leave early and asked to order to go. This was a huge deal. Waitress said no When we asked for the manager waitress did not get him/her. This place was very busy. The waitress was snarky to my boss as well. I would say this is not a flexible venue maybe go elsewhere for business. To be clear rating does not reflect food. Atmosphere was like one of those places the buses stop on a tourist route.

Seated promptly at our reservation time. Food was just ok but service was awful. Took drink order and left us for 30 minutes before talking dinner order. Took 45 minutes to get deserts and after ward’s brought the coffee. There were no popovers ; claiming they were short staffed. Really?? We come every Christmas season for the ambience, carolers and popovers.
