SAVE YOUR TIME AND $$........... The tableclothed restaurant looks high-end and it's highly recommended by a friend of mine, I was hoping for at least a decent meal. Only a total of three tables on a Saturday afternoon (??) with three servers and the owner was there as well. To our huge disappointment, the food and services were both bad, only if I could give 0 star ............... We ordered seafood paella, grilled pork chop and fried calamari, only to be told afterwards that they did not get the delivery of calamari that morning. We couldn't find anything we like on the menu so we skipped the appetizer. So lucky we did because the food was just so so bad....... We had the worst paella ever, so plain without any taste at all. The overall look was also unpleasant as the yellow rice was pale that it barely has any color. The seafood served with half a tiny lobster, it's not fresh and honestly speaking, it's half-stale, and the shrimps are small too. The grilled pork chop also had not taste and we don't recall we requested no sodium for our food!!??!!! Meantime, there are some slices of bread, some ready to eat chips and olives on the table - the bread was cold and not fresh. Can't wait to see and tell my friend what a huge disappointment this restaurant is. There are so many restaurants that deserve our patronage, and this one is not IT.

The experience at the restaurant was excellent the moment we walked in. We were warmly greeted by the owner and promptly seated. The service was outstanding . From refilling the chips and bread placed on the table without asking to being attentive to filling the water glasses . When additional wine was ordered it was served within two minutes . Every aspect of the dining experience was met and exceeded . This restaurant has a highly recommended. The food was 5 stars .

This place deserves 0 stars. I would give it negative stars if that was possible. My family has been coming to Lisbon Cafe for years and always had great things to say about it. Yesterday was a different story -- my mom's birthday was ruined. Entirely different wait staff and bartenders, and it's important I mention that we waited nearly an hour for our entrees, let alone 30 minutes for just a few appetizers and drinks. Speaking of appetizers, the Caesar salad was funky. The dressing tasted unpleasantly sweet and not fresh at all. However, we were starving and needed to force it down. My mom ordered a Bloody Mary, but couldn't have one due to the bar not having tomato juice. Isn't a Bloody Mary a pretty typical bar drink? Then, after such a long wait, our entrees arrived but minus the simplest one, a steak and shrimp. Everyone at the table got seafood, but my sister's seafood dish consisted literally of empty shells. My dad had to order something else because although rabbit stew was on the menu, it wasn't an option that night. Great. When we mentioned, the poor waitress looked like she was about to burst into tears and walked away. Thankfully we were comped on that. My mom asked if her dish could have the broth she thought it'd contain, and the owner took it to the back and ensured her they could do it. He came back with a bowl full of what seemed to just be tomato soup. Finally, my steak and shrimp came out...without shrimp. It was cooked fine, but then another 10 minutes later my shrimp arrived haphazardly scattered on an insanely hot plate. Since it was in fact my mom's birthday, we had asked for them to bring out a cake we bought and brought. Cue the awkward "h-h-happy...birthday" singing that we had to chime in on loudly. After each got a slice, it was packed away with no chance of possibly having another. Safe to say we got out of there as quickly as we could, three hours later. We wanted to bring home our food, and the waitress brought out numerous tiny containers because they didn't have full-sized ones. Parties around us were seated, had dinner and drinks and dessert and left well before us. How? Anyway, later that night and this morning we all got sick from the food and have been throwing up since. So there's that.

We were greeted right away and felt welcomed even though it was a busy night. Very chic chandeliers and modern ambience. Service was excellent. Large menu selection. Homemade chips with olives were a nice touch. Shrimp cocktail quality was excellent. The champagne shrimp and salmon were delicious. Filet mignon was phenomenal. Fabulous dessert options that paired well with our champagne. Had booked a private event here after dining. Will definitely recommend!

I booked this place in advance for my 30th birthday I go today to finalize details after I gave out my invitation to find out from the manager or owner of the company that he took someone’s else’s booking over mine because that person had more People. I am less than a week away from my event and I have to scramble to now find another place last minute because of how unprofessional, & arrogant this guy was to me.He was speaking loudly to me in my face threw my deposit down. & his response to me was to change my entire plans around so he can cater to the other event instead of mine. This man is not nice spoke down on me, the way he handled everything was unprofessional I don’t recommend you booking your event here he is a money seeking monster.

Was there for restaurant week. $49 three course. The potato chips and olives were wonderful. Didn't touch the bread but it looked crusty. Started with delicious onion soup! Then had the paella with a side of half lobster for an extra $10. The chorizo was gristly and difficult to eat. The chicken, shrimp, clams and mussels were fine. Lobster was a small amount must have been a small one. Rice needed a bit more flavor but was decent. Dessert was crème brûlée which was delicious! Flan was just ok, not the best that I have had. Service was great. Ambiance was elegant and quiet, great for talking. Overall a great evening.

Lisbon Café, Portuguese restaurant in Jericho NY, was comfortable, cheerful and served plain food. Although we couldn't stop eating the home-made potato chips. My paella consisted of various seafood in a pot with rice, served nice and hot. No roasted red pepper, peas or other ingredients to make it at least a sort-of genuine paella. Plain. I think my husband's grilled seafood dish was more interesting. Many places are understaffed, still, our waiter was kind and aware of our needs. My pet peeve— why can't restaurants have padding under their single white tablecloths that swim over the tables? Or use two.

This was my second and last visit to this place. Major issue with management that begins with apathetic seating host/(owner?) part-time maître d' with sulky vague expression and total lack of any professionalism. He cared less that the bar was understaffed and drinks were not coming fast and listed menu prices were not matched with computer log. Staff did the best but were lacking support due to poor management. No issue with quality of food and drinks (well seasoned, umami).
