Wonderful surprise! We arrived at about 2:30pm. Very quiet and lovely. The food was very good. We shared the salmon and the tuna. Very nice sized portions. Staff was very helpful. The ambiance was nice as well. We will go back!

Had lunch here with my mother and aunt on a Thursday afternoon. I did not expect to have probably the best Octopus dish I've ever had. Really spectacular. Perfectly balanced flavor and texture, and the cook on the Octopus itself was spot on. I would return just based on that alone. We had French onion soup which was very solid. Excellent fried chicken thigh sandwich. Good chicken quesadilla, and a really good short rib bolognese. Didn't love the pasta choice with that which was cavatelli. My personal opinion/preference would be a pappardelle or tagliatelle to make the short rib more of the star. The cavatelli was a little too dense and fought against the short rib. I've been coming to this place for several years now, and it's nice to have had one of the better meals I've had there this far into their run. Kudos to the kitchen and the front of the house.

Our waitress, a blonde woman during the 6:45pm shift on 2/16/24 was lovely. She gave my partner and I time to look over the menu and was kind and helpful with food suggestions. The ambience was a great date night spot.

It's my favorite restaurant on Long Island so I am a bit biased but literally EVERYTHING on the menu is amazing! The ambiance is cozy comfortable and even a bit romantic. The staff from the owner, waiters and bartenders all bring their A game every night. Great wine list and excellent cocktails.

Always a pleasure. I dined here two nights in a row this week. Both were wonderful meals. This is one of the most consistent excellent restaurants I have found on LI . Highly recommend !

Server forgot to order our appetizers and when we inquired about them he became rude and offensive. Manager replaced him with another server (much better) but the food ultimately came out cold and had to go back to be reheated. VERY off night.
It was our first time at Market Bistro. Everything was excellent from the time we walked in. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. We were seated right away and our server Kenny was very nice, informative and very attentive. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back.

Service was great. Food was good. Lobster Avocado Toast could have had more lobster. Panko crusted chicken salad and short rib bolognese were very good. Carrot Cake was best part of meal. They could do some decorating - most of the walls are bare.
Good was very good & our server Mark was nice. Food was terrific but the place is so loud, I could barely hear my friends talk. Not my idea of a good time but the food was wonderful. Had the csvatli with bolognese. The flatbread with Brussels sprouts, ricotta and bacon to die for and Brussels sprout appetizer with ranch goat cheese terrific. Chicken sandwich was delicious and the salmon with soba noodles was great. Maybe I'll come back for early lunch if it's quiet enough. lol
Wish I could remember the waiters name. he was great!!!!! the hostess could have put a smile on her face she looked like she was annoyed about the whole day. but I get it was all have days like that. food is always good

Food is always excellent. Our waiter Kenny could not have been more attentive and on his game. Two of us had the short ribs, super tender. Hubby loved his pork chop and the salmon was delicious.

I rarely go to a restaurant because of vegetables, but the crispy brussel sprouts are amazing! The pork chop was delicious as was the tuna tartar- just wish they had wasabi to serve with that!
