Place is AWFUL...do not patronize!! They did a bait and switch for Valentine's Day and replaced their regular menu with a limited one that was overpriced and never told anyone. Go elsewhere, lest you be conned by an unsympathetic owner
Our whole experience there was horrible! Service was horrible. The food was just OK and our bill is over $700 for seven people.
Excellent service. Beer was great. Roast turkey dinner was disappointing as was not fresh turkey and instead processed type. Dessert very good apple strudel.
A real let down We were crowded into a room with no ambiance. The wine was overpriced. All the shops that was supposed to be open or closed
I've been to the Millerage so many times since I was a little girl. I was excited to go since I had not been there in ages. The ambiance is still nice but just a different feel. Changes to the classic menu and other little touches were gone. My mom and I got the Turkey and it was good. My daughter got Mac and cheese with short rib which was gross. Hubby and son got a burger and sandwich which they said was good. We got calamari for appetizer which tasted like rubber and kids got French onion soup which they said was good. The most disappointing part for me was that they no longer had the peppermint candy ice cream for desert. Waitress said they were out of ice cream. We went over to the ice cream shop in the village and they didn't have it either. It was very pricy too so maybe I want to try the brunch.
I had read quite a few reviews that with the new chef, Milleridge Inn was serving great food so we gave it a try. We had a 4:00 reservation on New Years Day and when we got there, we were told they were only serving buffet (when I got home, I checked their website and couldn't find any mention that New Years Day was buffet only). So we stayed because where else were we going on New Years Day at 4:00 with no reservation The drinks were really good - we all got seasonal special drinks. The place was decorated beautifully. Our server was great! But the food was so, so disappointing - especially for the price of $69pp. There was about 8-10 covered dishes that we did not have access to serving utensils so we had to wait for the server to serve us - there was only one server to serve everyone getting food. The food was really not good - chicken tenders were so hard the knife wouldn't cut them, the lo-mein was mushy and not flavored good, the shrimp tasted like it had been out for hours (which it had because we found out that 5:00 was the last seating so we basically got food that had been sitting out for quite a while) all the dessert cakes were pre-cut and because they had been out for a while, the outsides were very hard and dry. When the server lifted the lid for the butternut squash and goat cheese ravioli, all that was there was roasted squash - they had run out of ravioli and were just serving roasted squash. The server at the carving station wasn't quite sure how to cut the meat and once we got it, it was pretty flavor-less. The quiche and bacon were very good. We saw that another table had been served their popovers, which Milleridge is known for, so when we asked for some, the waiter said they didn't have any and then when he saw the other table with them, he was very surprised and bought us some. When all was said and done, it cost us each $116 and we left very unsatisfied and disappointed.
Beautiful place and decorations service was at best fair and food poor. We have been here many times and always good very disappointed this time
Milleridge Inn: 2 👎👎 Family visiting for my birthday. Reservations at 7. Get seated right away. Waiter comes over after 5 minutes & takes our drink order. We wait 30 minutes for our drinks. Place our food order and no lie, it comes out in 5 minutes. Lukewarm if not cold. Pretty sure it was sitting under a heatlamp. We start talking to the table near us and they basically said their food was cold & inedible. They got to the manager before us. Complained but he didn't seem too concerned. Another manager came over and listened to the daughter, who was very well spoken. Ends up comping their entire bill. Very disappointing birthday meal & will not return. Took our food home to hopefully enjoy it hot.
Horrible meal the meat was hard to chew and I couldn't even cut it. Sent back to the kitchen very disappointed
The Millridge is always so beautiful and festive , but the food is just fine. It was a very special place before all the changes. I will continue to go as a tradition, but they really need to adjust it.

Food was awful! Was hoping they finally improved but was disappointed again. Won't be back!
The Milleridge Inn is always a lovely place to visit this time of year. I've been going there for almost 25 years. I do remember a more traditional, old fashioned menu. I liked that better honestly. All in all it's still nice.
The Milleridge Inn is a classic, perhaps a bit stuck between generations. The ambience is "classic New England Inn" that, perhaps needs a bit of an update. The food (and I include the menu choices here) is....mundane. Don't mistake mundane for bad though; the food itself, prep and taste was quite good, just familiar. The service was also very good, but also routine. What was a bit off putting was the prices; a bit high for the overall package. Would I go back? Sure, especially for a holiday (Christmas) family meal. The holiday décor was nice, comfortable, and altogether appropriate for the season. I found the in-house advertisements for the "Holiday Specials" a bit much though. Overall, a nice place for a family to gather and eat, no fuss, no muss, and will bring smiles to most.
The ambiance it's spectacular. The service and food it's just average. Beautiful restaurant that could upgrade on their food. They have burgers and sandwiches for diner ... food presentation lacks imagination to make it attractive it truly looks like your mother just served you a plate of food at home.
I was looking forward to dining at the Milleridge Inn. Growing up, I used to go, not only at holidays, but throughout the year. At Christmas time they went all out! Decorations, music, carolers. To say this place has gone downhill is an understatement. Minimal decorations inside, hip hop music playing, no carolers. OK...so the village and outside are decorated over the top. It was beautiful. But this is about the restaurant. We sat down at 5:25. Ordered our drinks right away and they arrived within 5 minutes. Ordered our dinner immediately after. They were out of Pot Roast at 5:30 on a Friday evening. WHAT? So we both order the meatloaf. It wasn't minutes later they plunked down the dinner. Nothing was hot, just medium warm. The corn looked disgusting, the meatloaf was hard and salty but the mashed potatoes were ok. I would never go back again. I was so disappointed! Certainly not the same as when the Murphy's owned it!!
