This review is based solely on our Easter visit on Sunday 3/31/24. This was our first time at the Millridge Inn. We wanted to have Easter Lunch as well as somewhere that offered entertainment for the kids and the Millridge inn did just that. Our reservations were for 3:30pm at the cottage for the buffet- we were seated right away. We arrived at 2:00 just in time for the egg hunt, pictures with the Easter bunny, face painting, balloon animals, petting zoo and pony ride! My kids loved it! The buffet had such a variety of food some of our favorites were crab legs, shrimp cocktail, ham, skirt steak and the cold table: cheeses and pesto pasta. The service was not the best - however our waiter had a lot of tables and was very busy .. and we understood that and were patient. We def enjoyed our time there and will be returning again next year!

Myself and my family of 17 had a reservation for 3pm on Sunday.... We weren't seated till 330 which is understandable being a holiday. We didn't get our food till 7pm. We've always gone to the Millridege for holidays. We will never do it again. Horrible service.

Wow the food and service has gone from ok 5 years ago to just really bad at this point. dont eat here . The margarita i ordered was clearly from a cheap mix. The pot roast was dry and tasteless. the sauerbr aten was also dry and tasted like it was left out too long. Then to top off the horrible meal the bill got screwed up and my card was mis charged. after many calls to the milleridge inn and their parent company with no calls returned i got no help . Its sad to see what was once a great place is now only a memory and a plce my family will never go to again

After 30+ years of patronizing this place, we are DONE! Planned a surprise birthday party for my wife, paid a $500 deposit, as expected. However, we ran into a serious problem that resulted in us having to cancel. I explained this to the planner, acknowledging the contract stipulations. She dragged her feet in responding for weeks, but FINALLY acknowledged me and said she would inform Accounting. They then dragged their feet for almost a month, causing me to escalate this to the owners at DOVER BEVERAGE SERVICES, INC. The FINALLY responded to let me know that I am basically screwed out of our $500!!! Done with this place for good and not a huge loss as the service and quality has tanked anyway! There are other NICER places in the area. Consider them!!

A truly unfortunate dinner! To start, the place was cavernous but nearly empty, which should have been enough of a warning. Popovers come, pretty good, but not stellar. Cinnamon bread was completely stale and flavorless, and also odd to serve before dinner. Caesar salad was fine, Mac and cheese was pretty good, but the clams oreganato was almost certainly frozen. The cherry on top was a 55 dollar rib eye, asked for medium rare, came out well done. Asked for it to be redone, and received a rare steak because it was "better to get it cooked more than be wrong again!" I get it, but maybe we can just cook a steak we are selling for 50+ dollars the correct way? It was sent back a second time and returned completely unevenly cooked. At that point our party had finished their underwhelming meals and I lost my appetite. Also, the potatoes were like frozen breakfast potatoes from a diner, "crispy" Brussels sprouts were soggy and smelly. I appreciate that they took the ribeye off the bill, but it didn't redeem the experience by much. Avoid this place, unless you're a fan of bad food and kitschy decor.

We are diabetic so unfortunately nothing in there was appropriate for us but sometimes you just have to look, and the aroma! The staff was very understanding also.

Had lunch there. Nice ambiance, Christmas decorations still all over restaurant. Staff was gracious and helpful. Good size food portions, French onion soup hot and delicious. Rest of food was cold. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, carrots and green beans cold. Asked for extra gravy but not enough to warm everything up. Roasted half chicken only thing that was hot. Train ride could have used more Christmas scenery. Half was looking at cars in parking lot. People will just keep going there because it is a family tradition but it could use a little sprucing up.

Remember-you're here for the Disney-esque adorable Christmasy fun, which is delivered wholeheartedly by the attentive staff, sweet carolers, and everyone working the holiday village. The food is just fine and there's a lot of it. We almost skipped the whole thing after reading some other reviews and wow! People do not get the assignment when it comes to just having fun and being kind for the holidays. Skip the reviews by the negaholics, grab your sweetie, littles or favorite aunties and just enjoy the unique experience! A great way to rock in the holidays! We're so happy we came!

This place used to be a great place to go with family. It's not what it used to be. Sad to say when you have an issue there is no one to talk to let alone call you back. I thought bringing my grandchildren here to experience what their mother had as a child would have been an experience for them. My card was OVERCHARGED for our meals and after multiple calls they have not been responsive let alone seem to have a care about this. I will be looking for a new place to have my grandchildren have memories made. Sad thing is this WAS a great place for families. Doesn't seem to be that way anymore.

Came for a holiday lunch with my office. The place was super packed and busy. We had a reservation so we were seated fairly quickly. The place was fully decorated for the Christmas season. The server was polite but you could tell he was slammed with all the tables he was attending too. I feel he did his best to be present when he tte des to us. The food was mediocre. I had the French onion soup. It was not the best I have ever had. I would not order it there again. One of my colleagues had the potato leek spud and he enjoyed that. We got some cinnamon bread which was yummy would have Ben nice it it was warm when brought out. There were these bread calls popovers tbat is supposedly something they are known for but I found it to just be eggy and missing salt. The salad was good I received a good serving of shrimp with my salad and the the greens were fresh.

For a Saturday morning before the Christmas Holiday, the bakery was sparse. We bought the delicious crumb squares & chocolate brownie cookies.

Not very much of a selection today early morning. One staff member that was very slow and couldn’t answer any questions about the pastry. Was there 30 min while she talked on the phone. The cash register paper jammed and she couldn’t really give me prices on certain items! The receipt didn’t itemize the tuff we purchased which was $100.45. Had to bag all our stuff. There was no help there. Very slow. People walking out. Then I decided to get two loafs of bread and asked to slice it, she said the machine was broken. Have been coming there many years. Things got very small and not as good as it use to be. The worker’’ didn’t seem to care about anything at all.Parking: I guess the Management decided to cone off areas close to the Stores. No where for Handicap Parking blocked!!! Very difficult getting in and out!

Came for Lunch at 12 when the open and waited on line for over half hour because the kitchen wasn't ready . Unbelievable. No answer as to how long we have to wait either . At least let us sit !!!

Stay away for the dinner, just visit the village and keep moving. Today's experience with a reservation. 4 of us order duck server returns no duck, we edit orders. Then after time passes no cobb salad left redo orders again after time passes the reorder of truffle mac is not available. Then settle on a ceasar salad with shrimp it was wet and not ceasar and shrimp had no flavor at all. The server said we would be sent a bottle of wine .. never saw it. And i asked for a manager to come over since it was 3 times redo and no a manager never came over. Forget about us planning next year or any other holiday event . The foos is not that good it is all about the village anyway but they dont even care to try service recovery.
