I love Milleridge Inn. we were there on a bit of an off night. We had a party of 9 people. Everyone raved about the cauliflower appetizer, my pot roast sandwich was incredibly good. No one else was enthusiastic about their meals, unfortunately their delicious popovers were not available and there were limited dessert selections. But still four stars. Love the place and will be back, it just wasn't as stellar as usual.

Family has been patrons of the Milleridge Inn over 25 years- all through the changes in ownership. Has been very loyal. However, had a miscommunication with the front desk due to the new days the restaurant is closed. Management office- Amanda truly wasn’t obliging in offering any kind of compensation. So disappointed on how faithful patrons are treated by the new owners. Milleridge Inn has its challenges- but still is a magical nostalgic restaurant of the past. Not certain about future generations willing to keep my families tradition. So offended. Breaks my heart to send a negative review when in past gave stellar ones.

I was a guest for a birthday party 8/2. The room was off the bar, dark, dreary, complete with deer head...horrible. The renovated dining room was empty and we were a party of 12. At least seat us in a new section. The food was just ok, but no ice tea! Ordered dessert....waited 10 minutes only to be told....sorry the ice cream is melted. The only other choice was cheese cake or chocolate cake. No dessert menu. And no cappuccino. The birthday gal couldn't eat the tasteless chocolate cake. The Resturant in no way tried to make up for this. Not once did the manager stop in to check the event. I had to seek him out upon leaving . What should have been a beautiful time for a milestone birthday.turned out to be sooo disappointing. The Milleridge Inn will not last. I guess the empty parking lot was the clue not to dine here.

Milleridge Inn Went Above and Beyond

When my elderly mother passed away, we knew we had to honor one of her final wishes: to celebrate her life with a gathering at the Milleridge Inn. She had cherished this historic landmark since the 1970s, spending countless family occasions there. It was her happy place.

When I called to reserve a luncheon for Monday, July 21, I was told—understandably—that the Inn is normally closed on Mondays during the summer. I explained how much this meant to my mom, Claire Morris. Without hesitation, Manager Karen Ascencio listened with genuine compassion. And then, something extraordinary happened: she made it possible. Karen opened the Milleridge Inn just for us.

Mind you, we weren’t a group of 200+—we were just 28 people. Yet we were treated with such warmth, respect, and care. The cost was extremely reasonable, but what we received was priceless.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for opening your doors and your hearts to our family. Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were attentive and kind, the food was delicious, and the Inn and Garden Room looked stunning—just as my mom always remembered.

I know she was smiling down from heaven.

Forever grateful,
Peter Morris

We went for dinner and were truly impressed by the beauty of the place. Each room has its own charm, and walking through them while reading about the history was a great experience.

As for the food; it was just okay. I’d give it 1 out of 5 stars if you’re going for the meals alone. If you’re expecting a flavorful or standout dining experience, this may not be the right spot. That said, their drinks, cinnamon bread, French fries, pork chops, and mac and cheese were all surprisingly delicious and worth trying, but the rest of the food was 1 star.

I didn't appreciate little flies around the food. Also the food value was too high for the quality.

I attended a pre Mother’s Day brunch event held for the ladies of LICOA on May 4, 2025. The event catered to approximately 80 people in my party and it was run decidedly very well.

The ambiance of the facility was quite unique, and lent a fine old Long Island country flair. It was rather classy if I must say!

The food… oh the food…. It was absolutely 💯 delicious! They’re were several, at least two omelette stations, a cold cheese and salad spread, nice assortment of fresh cut fruits, another generous area of hot lunches serving a divine lamb stew, yummy chicken franchise, hot pasta dishes, an array of cold and hot seafood such as shrimp cocktail, king crab legs, oysters and the works! The desert spread included a variety of sliced cakes, cannoli, pastries, brownies, cookies, cobblers and pies etc. Needless to say I sampled the goodies and it did not disappoint my tastebuds!

This fine catering facility, The Milleridge Inn here on Long Island has for sure made my list of superb, well run establishments. I’ll certainly be coming back here very soon! The staff were attentive, friendly and very accommodating. For such a large crowd in my event, taking into consideration that there was also another event, a baby shower being held in another section, we never felt neglected in service in any way.

Parking… there was plenty and more than ample parking. The lot is huge. As for wheelchair accessibility, it surely is, I saw a ramp when you entered the front doors so that makes for easy entry with a wheelchair. This facility is also family and kid friendly.

I highly recommend The Milleridge Inn for all of your catering needs! Its location is perfect of any event from weddings, to baby showers and dinners to brunches.

I worked with Karen Ascencio to plan my mom’s 60th birthday surprise party. She was fantastic! From beginning to end, Karen was responsive to my questions, and very accommodating to any requests made. The service by the waitstaff was amazing, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere and help throughout the event was outstanding. My mom was so surprised, and she and our guests had the best time! Could not have done this without Karen and the awesome staff at the Milleridge. Thank you. 🫶

Enjoyed Father's Day Brunch! The staff was welcoming and attentive. The food was plentiful. The clams on the half shell and other seafood were outstanding. My Husband said the cinnamon bread French toast was the best he has ever had!

Site says that the cafe and bakeshop are opened until 6 on Sundays. Got there today at 4:45 and everything in the village was all closed up. A lot of people have been complaining lately as to how the Milleridge Inn has gone down hill and frankly I cannot blame them. The restaurant's food quality has gone down hill over the years but the prices continue to soar. The current ownership has been in place for 9 years and they've done nothing but destroy the place's reputation.

Honestly, I’m surprised the Milleridge Inn isn’t busier. It’s rich in history and has such a charming atmosphere. I enjoyed the food, which I thought was quite good, but we did wait a bit longer than expected for each course—despite being one of only three tables in the dining room. It took about 2.5 hours for lunch, and I’m not sure if that’s too long or if they simply weren’t rushing us.

As for the food: my son’s steak, my brother’s duck, and my mom’s chicken Francese were all excellent. My steak tidbits, unfortunately, were overdone and tough, which was disappointing. However, the potato fries were some of the best I’ve ever had.

I love this place. Always great for a family celebration. We enjoy the history, the shopping village, the peacocks, and the overall ambiance. It's always more than just a meal out. We also enjoy the food and the choices. The dinner portions are large but the appetizers are embarrassingly small. $24 for fried calamari that was in a small bowl. Ok won't order that again. Empty restaurant but they initially jammed a party of 8 with a member of my party in a wheelchair into a tight corner. Why? I spoke up and got us moved a table over where there was much more space. Then we sat and sat and sat and waited for service. Again near empty restaurant. I finally needed to get up and go look for someone. Servers did not come around often enough. Plates stacked up on the table and drinks went unfilled. We still had a great time and enjoyed each other and the food. The servers were very nice, but again just very laxed and disengaged. For that level of dining and prices, they just need to step it up a bit.

This Inn is so beautiful. I am fortunate to live in close proximity so we can visit often.
