Place is AWFUL...do not patronize!! They did a bait and switch for Valentine's Day and replaced their regular menu with a limited one that was overpriced and never told anyone. Go elsewhere, lest you be conned by an unsympathetic owner
We had a 6:45 reservation and check in was a mess. We got seated around 7:05ish and it took about 20 minutes for the server to come over. By the time she did it was around 7:30 and she promptly announced they were out of Prime Rib which is the only thing I could eat on the menu due to food allergies. That was very poor planning on their part. My wife and I left
Our whole experience there was horrible! Service was horrible. The food was just OK and our bill is over $700 for seven people.
Excellent service. Beer was great. Roast turkey dinner was disappointing as was not fresh turkey and instead processed type. Dessert very good apple strudel.
THE WORST. I grew up going to this restaurant, I decided to take my brothers and sisters for Thanksgiving dinner here with our kids…. it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Their dishwasher broke, and they proceeded to give us plates with food debris on it from the previous timeslot. The buffet servers had their shoes off and were serving us with their socks on, they ran out of glassware and utensils. I’ve called multiple times and spoke with Cheryl who proceeds to give me the runaround, they will not refund us. They also forgot my daughter‘s birthday cake which we were celebrating. The whole experience was absolutely appalling, and the fact that they will not refund and LIE about the experience is truly sad. This place isn’t what it used to be. It’s dirty, and they lack any type of proper Restaurant operation.
A real let down We were crowded into a room with no ambiance. The wine was overpriced. All the shops that was supposed to be open or closed
I've been to the Millerage so many times since I was a little girl. I was excited to go since I had not been there in ages. The ambiance is still nice but just a different feel. Changes to the classic menu and other little touches were gone. My mom and I got the Turkey and it was good. My daughter got Mac and cheese with short rib which was gross. Hubby and son got a burger and sandwich which they said was good. We got calamari for appetizer which tasted like rubber and kids got French onion soup which they said was good. The most disappointing part for me was that they no longer had the peppermint candy ice cream for desert. Waitress said they were out of ice cream. We went over to the ice cream shop in the village and they didn't have it either. It was very pricy too so maybe I want to try the brunch.
I had read quite a few reviews that with the new chef, Milleridge Inn was serving great food so we gave it a try. We had a 4:00 reservation on New Years Day and when we got there, we were told they were only serving buffet (when I got home, I checked their website and couldn't find any mention that New Years Day was buffet only). So we stayed because where else were we going on New Years Day at 4:00 with no reservation The drinks were really good - we all got seasonal special drinks. The place was decorated beautifully. Our server was great! But the food was so, so disappointing - especially for the price of $69pp. There was about 8-10 covered dishes that we did not have access to serving utensils so we had to wait for the server to serve us - there was only one server to serve everyone getting food. The food was really not good - chicken tenders were so hard the knife wouldn't cut them, the lo-mein was mushy and not flavored good, the shrimp tasted like it had been out for hours (which it had because we found out that 5:00 was the last seating so we basically got food that had been sitting out for quite a while) all the dessert cakes were pre-cut and because they had been out for a while, the outsides were very hard and dry. When the server lifted the lid for the butternut squash and goat cheese ravioli, all that was there was roasted squash - they had run out of ravioli and were just serving roasted squash. The server at the carving station wasn't quite sure how to cut the meat and once we got it, it was pretty flavor-less. The quiche and bacon were very good. We saw that another table had been served their popovers, which Milleridge is known for, so when we asked for some, the waiter said they didn't have any and then when he saw the other table with them, he was very surprised and bought us some. When all was said and done, it cost us each $116 and we left very unsatisfied and disappointed.
we used to go about ten years ago - and decided to bring my 83 year old father for an after christmas celebration - made a reservation and were seated - and then were ignored - you have to know to ask for the bread and popovers and everything is an upcharge - was very disappointed and will never ever come back.

The Milleridge Inn feels like stepping into a charming historic home warm, beautifully decorated, and full of character. The food has that true house‑made taste, the kind that feels comforting from the first bite. Portions are big, so come hungry.
I had the roast pot and the chicken lemon piccata, and both were flavorful, tender, and clearly made with care. And the bread… they give you so much of it, fresh and perfect for soaking up every sauce.
The décor is another highlight cozy, detailed, and full of that homey, nostalgic vibe that makes you want to linger. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and taken care of. I loved the atmosphere and would definitely come back.

Breakfast with Santa was terrible, especially for its price close $60 for adults and almost $40 kids. Food was bad bagels were not fresh frozen bagels, eggs terrible, coffee cold and no half n half really not even at the coffee shop in the village, dessert station really bad, plus no carving station. Only thing was good was bacon, sausage links. Santa was not even great no jolly in him not even a ho! ho! ho! He looked so sad and the cottage was decorated ok nothing special never going back here. They used to be good here years ago seems things changed over the years went here as a kid and weddings. Pretty disappointed.

This absolutely pains me to write this review, since I have such a history with the millerage and it reminds me so much of going there with my grandma, who if you didn’t know was the greatest woman to ever walk the earth. We used to go every year for Good Friday, but stopped that 2 years ago since it was just awful. But, we have family visiting from Italy and we thought ok, the food isn’t the best but it’s decent and you go there for the decorations anyway. The food was so bad, it was embarrassing. We had 4:15pm dinner reservations and they were already sold out of short rib, the pot roast we got instead was so dry we needed literally a bowl of gravy to drench it and be able to get it down. The service was so bad, that 2 items we ordered never made it to the table, and I had to bring my check to the waitress after waiting 25 minutes for her to come get it. No apps, 5 adults, 2 glasses of wine, and 2 kids (who ate macaroni & butter) was $338 before tip. As much as I love the decorations and the history there for me personally, I just can’t do it again. The food at the millerage was never exceptional but it was edible, tonight was beyond inedible and I am so heartbroken. Dover has taken an icon and drove it into the ground

I’ve been going here since I was a kid. I went today and I ordered prime rib well done. It came out with a heartbeat. It went back and came out still more pink than brown. It wasn’t even medium well after the second time. I asked for a manager and I waited a half hour for the manager and they never came. I was gonna buy tickets for an upcoming event there but after today’s incident, I won’t be. Very disappointing!

Service was awful, we were the first seated when the restaurant opened at noon. The place filled up quickly - 1 pm still no food, everyone around us had already been served.
They were out of braised short-ribs as well, how do “run out” at the first seating?
Last year my food was served ice cold, i gave them another try - just terrible!!
