Staying at a BNB in town, this cute cafe was recommended to me. It's a simple spot with a fairly limited menu, but what they offer seems to be conscientiously designed. For example, with their breakfast sandwiches, they offer vegetarian "meats" as well as actual sausage and bacon. I was also offered a choice of two kinds of hot sauce as well as ketchup for my sandwich. Only reason I am giving the food 4 and not 5 stars was because it was basic and didn't have much in the way of "flair"/creativity. Service was friendly, kind and attentive, even though it is more of "counter service" set up. The vibe was definitely one of community, with a lot of regulars, a place where neighbors gather. Although I was new, I felt welcomed too.

COME HERE IF YOU ARE CYCLING THE EMPIRE STATE TRAIL!!! It’s Perfect! ? that it was a minute off the Empire State Trail and that a giant purple heart on the road marks the spot. Sarah, the owner, opened Peace Love Coffee in January 2023. Wished I live in Jordan so I could come here every day! The breakfast sandwich (lots of choices) and coffee was excellent!! The vibe is chill. People who come in are all friendly and regulars. Then there was me and other people cycling the Empire State Trail looking for delicious hearty food and we found it! AND she had cool stickers - I’m decorating my bicycle and loved the ? sticker.

It was super busy when we came in but the line moved fast. Super friendly service & great food & coffee! I got the bacon, egg, & cheese on a homemade biscuit with an iced coffee with pistachio & white chocolate. My little got buttered toast & apple juice. Everything was wonderful!

This place is amazing.. I've never had a bad sandwich or wrap. I'm not a coffee drinker. I can just rate the food. Sarah and Mike are great and very happy and friendly even when it's overly busy. And the prices are spot on for what they serve!

This small establishment is open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the week and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, closed Sunday. They serve breakfast and lunch. They can seat about 20 people inside and have picnic tables outside for eating al fresco when the weather allows. Also, it appears that the empty store space next to them might be intended for future expansion. They need it because the place was humming when we walked in for breakfast on a Saturday. The breakfast sandwiches were excellent. I had an over-medium fried egg with provolone and sausage on an English muffin, and my wife had her egg and cheese with bacon on a fresh biscuit. The price was a bargain compared to that charged by diners in Syracuse. I decided to have a cinnamon bun for dessert. They served it warm and it was delicious with some requested butter. My wife ordered a scone to take home. The staff are exceptionally pleasant and patient with first-time customers like us.
