On the way to Plattsburgh, we decided to stop at the Pleasant corner restaurant to have breakfast/lunch. I had a Reuben, which was extremely tasty and I also had to try the Michigan hotdog, which was surprisingly light but very tasty as well. I got a milkshake to go because they had the old style milkshake maker and I would highly recommend stopping by this little café if you’re in the area.

I stopped in and the Restarante was busy, but Joni the server acknowledged me right away. I had the Ribs which was fall off the Bone and flavorful. Only thing I didn’t like was the broccoli no flavor but all together I would recommend.

The food is amazing and the staff even more so! We'll definitely be back next summer! I'll never be able to make my meatloaf and gravy as good as I get at Pleasant Corner

We found this gorgeous diner on the way. The food was absolutely spot on. Home cooked, but nothing but perfect. The kids enjoyed it.
Ate the best clam chowder soup, compared to Boston and San Francisco as well.
The service was matched to the food, and was warm and lovely. Become our stop on the way to Canada.

Cozy little mom and pop diner. The food was good and I really appreciated how the prices were not outrageous, even though its in a highly sought after area being near ausable chasm. I say that because typically touristy areas have high prices, but not here! Micky mouse pancakes for the kids, and a delicious omelet for me. I also loved that everyone there (except for us visiting) knew each other and was conversing from table to table. Honestly a precious gem of a place. God bless them.
