Amazing food. Nice atmosphere. Some of the most reasonable prices I've dealt with at a restaurant in a long time.

Saw this establishment previewed recently and the food looked amazing. It was, thankfully cause the rest of the experience not so great. I am going to give this place another try just in case today was not a normal experience. It took over twenty minutes just to be acknowledged that we needed to be sat. Then once sat another 20 minutes just for a waitress to come over. Multiple times the staff just walks by the table not even looking to see if you’ve been taken care of. Once we were waited on it took almost an hour for our food to come out. The food was worth the wait. My eggs Benedict was delicious. The sauce is sweet and definitely homemade. The sausage links amazing. Just some small take away. They need a front of the house person, someone dedicated to seating people and letting the staff know they have been given a table. The staff needs dedicated sections, not just random tables cause people were not being seen. While we were there we saw two times a table get sat wait a significant time and just get up and walk out. Lastly a bus boy to come in and clear tables instead of the staff trying to do it as it pulls them away from their patrons. Hopeful the next time is better.

Today was our first try at Surge. We tried the ever risky option of take out. We called in our order for a Flight of 3 Eggs Benedict, and a Latin Skillet. We were told 15 minutes until our food would be ready, it wasn't ready upon arrival; apparently the petson taking orders and running the front didn't save a queue the order. We waited another 20 minutes for the order to be prepared. A few bumps and lack of communication.

The Eggs Benedict Flight contained a traditional with Canadian bacon, a corned beef hash and a Florentine. The good is that all eggs were poached perfectly. The hollandaise was very good with a nice lemon finish. The corned beef hash was good. The disappointing moment was the Florentine; I ordered Lox. The hash brown potatoes were seasoned and cooked well.

The Latin skillet was good, eggs poached perfectly, sliced link chorizo and topped with hollandaise.

Aside from the communication and order delay we found the food good. We will be back.

52 minute wait for a subpar breakfast sandwich and large coffee to go. Egg shells in sandwich, soggy bread, no napkins, no cup protective cozy, distressed workers vocalizing the chaos adding to uncomfortable wait time. Just a suggestion, serve the go coffee first, so there is sip time while waiting and provide a refill if the wait time is longer than anticipated. Will pass next time and go across the street to Spot Coffee.

Speaking only for my meal at brunch this morning. The chocolate chip pancakes were huge and contained a ton of chocolate chips. The sausage was good.

My daughter got an eggs benedict and it was the worst she's ever had but my pancakes were not that bad. The prices were high and the menu mentions a charge of $3 for maple syrup but they didn't charge it.

The atmosphere was nice, the disco balls were kinda cheesy but everything else looked nice.

Server messed up our ticket at the end but fixed it easily enough. Definitely not worth the price and I would not return.

What can I say, absolutely perfect experience. From breakfast to lunch and more they never disappoint. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly and I always make sure to overtip. I could not recommend this place enough :)

Cute decor and restaurant, would be nice if the food was worth the price. For about $12 I got 2 scrambled eggs, toast, and a handful of unseasoned under cooked home fries that I couldn't finish. Probably the worst I've ever had, Denny's would have been better and cheaper I'm sure. Save your money and go somewhere that seasons their food even if it isn't a cute little restaurant.

I was in Buffalo for weekend for a Graduation. Buffalo has a lot of new eateries and I miss the old flavor food that Buffalo is known for. Surge was friendly, cozy and the food was tasty and reasonable priced. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meal.
