Nicks is the perfect diner experience. Solid food, good prices, great staff, and quick service. We love sitting at the counter and watching Chef Nick prepare all the food.

I had a fantastic experience at Nick Place, The menu offered a great variety of delicious options, and the service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I definitely plan on returning to try more of their delicious dishes.

Some of the worst service I've ever had. I ordered the country breakfast which comes on three plates. They came at three different times. I finished my main. The pancakes came next and then the toast came last sat. There where the empty coffee cup no spoon to stir anything with delivered water. No straw. Just an all and all weight game. I was there forever. They got a girl walking around with a rag in her hand wiping tables and the wait staff isn't very attentive. They need to work on it

I walked in to place a To go order I was told they were not taking to go orders but they said I could sit and eat. This makes absolutely no sense because what's the difference if I ate their or they have to put it in a box. They still have to make it so that excuse is absolutely ridiculous.

I've been a regular at Nick's on Amherst Street for years and like it. Was on Elmwood so decided to stop in to "Nick's Express. Different vibe, but same good food, friendly service, reasonable prices, and comfortable family atmosphere. This gem is easily passed by while driving on Elmwood. I'm sorry it took me so long to stop in. I'll definitely be back.

The food was absolutely delicious! Crispy bacon, the French toast is a must! Super clean comfortable atmosphere!
Not one to leave bad reviews...but was mediocre at best food and waitress acted like we weren't there or were bothering her...won't be back

I had to ask and wait for a straw. It took about 30 mins to get our food (table for two and one was breakfast) The breakfast was decent but the American cheese slices were imitation and didn’t melt. The chicken souvlaki wrap had iceberg lettuce and carrots in it- woah! That to me is fake Greek food. Prices were very reasonable. Environment was nice. It’s beautiful inside. Potatoes were good. But overall I’m not sure I’d come again.
