I always get chicken cutlet sandwiches or breakfast sandwiches and they’re always so good and fresh. In the mornings it’s super busy so make sure to have enough time. Other than that they’re pretty quick and I like to call ahead and make my order.
The best bagels in Kew Gardens, and maybe in all of Queens. What more is there to say? Well, that they're hand-rolled, freshly-baked, and often served still warm, even pre-toasted. The employees are courteous, attentive, and respectful—something of a rarity these days. This is a business being run right.
Grew up in Brooklyn, moved out of NYC in 87, back to visit many times and my in laws lived in Kew Gardens. They passed away 5 years ago but we still go back for these bagels when visiting my son in LI and daughter in Brooklyn.
Had the “best” growing up in Flatbush but have to say this place gives the best of the 50s a run for the money and IMHO blows aways all those high end fancy places in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
