New Metro Sushi Cafe

i love this sushi spot. me and my family order the party tray almost every weekend. I don’t know why the other reviews are so bad the sushi is always fresh and tastes amazing. been a customer here since 2018 and the delivery is always so fast

Honestly very mediocre sushi. I ordered spicy crab and spicy tuna and you can see from the spicy crab they just threw the kani whole in there with I guess the “spicy” on top, not even enough effort to try and mix the two. Mikado is on the next block over, a little more expensive like $1-2 but so worth it since it’s higher quality sushi

The combo specials are good value and was fresh when I ordered. There’s a lot of variety on the menu. The same goes for party trays. The 3 maki combo comes w miso soup and is $15.95/ $17.35 with tax. It was a lot of food for a sushi meal! Due to the size of the restaurant it’s best for takeout.

I ordered from this place through Doordash and I almost never complain even if my order is wrong or whatever but I literally could not finish the sushi rolls I had here. The fish tasted rancid and old/expired. It looked and smelled like it too. I only ate a couple of pieces before having to throw it away. Don’t order from here for real.

The place is very dirty ,start from main entrance to inside,looks like getto, when you come in- there is reception with one lady and probably her kids in the end, probably this people leaving there,where is kitchen and which condition is it I don't even imagine.
I want to cancel the order,but it was done already,so I took it.
Fry calamari the oil was not changed for long time and in sushi I found 2 pieces of plastic.
So I threw all of that right away.
Not recommended at all.

I had the worst experience! I ordered fried soft shell crab on uber eats- price was $9.50 and this is the portion for that. And on top of that uber cost extra!! This is such a small portion, unacceptable and disappointing

The sushi was not fresh at all. The service was not great either. Won’t be going back here. Only went because sushi time was closed but you can taste the difference and it’s STARK.
