Authenticity of this place cannot be replicated. It's simple, comfortable, charming and has the markings of being well used over the years. Had a great breakfast. It's been my go to when crossing the border over the years amd I hope to continue the tradition.

Take the time to enjoy the food here at the Flying Spatula. We have tried this place a couple times. The 3/4lb burgers are delicious. We tried the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce and mayo. The burger had crispy edge with a juicy bite. The bacon was small broken pieces in every bite. And the bun did not get soggy as it was lightly toasted. Added Fries, good flavor, but not as crispy as we prefer. Overall the meal was just right. Try the breakfast, lunch or dinner options here. They are open for breakfast and lunch hours so come before it’s too late. The service was nice and the family is sweet.Parking: Plenty of room for parking trucks and cars and right off the freeway.

Very good small restaurant. With a big and quiet parking lot for semi truck. Good service, very good lunch and big portions. The lady seem to work all by herself inside so she work hard and she’s very gentle. I recommend and will be back there for sure !!

Food was decent for the most part. Great fries. Fish was awesome. Grilled ham and cheese had a lot of fat in the ham. Easy on and off access to I81. Overall decent place to eat.

First time there had a horrible experienceWhen I received mozzarella sticks they were burnt couldn’t eat asked for marinara sauce and received cold salsaThey advertised fresh potatoes chips upon request the waitress brought my burger and fresh chips dropped them at table never said I would the chips were so burnt when I picked one up it crumbled into piecesWaitress never came back to table to check on usI cannot only believe that not only the cook would send the food out like this but the waitress clearly knew everything was burnt and cold and expected me to eat and never came backThis was our first and last time thereDo not recommend

This place is wonderful! Don’t let the lack of paint or faded sign scare you. They are quite open. The owner is a pro on that grill. Gives LARGE portions at a cheap price.I’ve never seen an owner work so hard. And her waitress is a doll. Always smiling and serves that food FAST!Go there! You won’t regret it.Oh…and if you like great wings, she does that too!I’ll miss that place!

Adequate. Small. I waited at the counter for several minutes before the waitress bothered to assist me. Coffee was ultra strong and bitter.

Great Food from A Mother & Daughter team. Great ambiance & the locals don’t bite. Lot’s of Parking and reel close to the border. Will be back Ladies. ?

With a generic diner sign broadcasting its existence, instead of boasting the great name Flying Spatula, it was kind of evident that this place wasn't going to get flying colors, but with scant options and empty bellies, we entered the diner like a ragtag team of out of towners, the locals curious as to what had blown in. They told us to sit anywhere, the waitress asking if we would be more comfortable at a bigger table when she dropped off the menus. Honestly, the portions, while decently sized, did not merit any extra elbow room or takeout boxes. It was too early for lunch, so I ordered an omelet with mushrooms, hold the toast and home fries. Instead I wanted to add on a pancake, which came with a shot of butter and cup of syrup. My plate arrived with taters, which I pawned off on my company. The omelet had a creamy provolone tasting cheese that melded it together and a flaky gold exterior. They only use two eggs instead of the traditional three, so I still had room for my thicc pancake. It was sturdy enough to eat with my hands, the way I prefer things, and even through my stuffed nose I could smell its sweet scent. My mate got the garbage burrito, plump and grilled. It was filled with peppers, onion, potato, and egg, like an omelette with a tortilla blanket. It was well seasoned, which was surprising considering the potatoes had none, just boiled and barely kissed the griddle. My friend got a sandwich on a lightly toasted bagel with sausage, a single, appreciated sheen of butter. It was served with a helping of whipped cream cheese, making for a tall breakfast. It was pretty nice, unlike her equally disappointing potatoes. Our other friend got pancakes (which he covered in syrup) that he enjoyed along with sunny side eggs and relatively dark raisin toast that would have been too dark for my taste, yet pleased him. He did need the shakers for his eggs, unlike mine. While it did its job of keeping us fed, it isn't a place that I'll miss too terribly once we are out of town. The waitress didn't seem very delighted to take care of us, and while the food was good, calling it a delight seems like a stretch. It passed, but not with flying (spatula) colors.

Duper cute local breakfast hut ?.Sit at a table and the coffee is served in a homestyle mug. Realistic family atmosphere.

Come to this gem off exit 49 of I 81 lafargeville exit! The pie lived to hype and the blueberry pancake and omelet were great. Help a small business instead of hitting mcds or some corporate chain. Also bacon was crispy how I like it so many fail at this not this place cmon down today!Parking: Tons of spots and places for truckers out back
