Small pleasant pub with table service, nice help. Menu was short, not many choices for vegetarian folks. The food did not do the descriptions and other glowing reviews justice. Seemed fresh and well prepared, Just ok.
We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and birthdays here. Don’t be deceived by the lack of decor, this was one of the best Lake George meals I’ve had in the years we have been visiting. Foodies welcomed! Farm to table with the menu changing regularly and everything is fresh and delicious. We each ordered something different and shared and everything was absolutely delicious. The steak, fish, corned beef, and scallop entrees were all tasty and the portions were so large we took home some delicious leftovers. The staff was attentive, friendly, helpful, and made for a fun dining experience. The drink menu offered a variety of drinks, craft beers, and wine. It was quieter as it was the off season, but I’d highly recommend making a reservation because even then it was busy. It’s conveniently located with a small parking lot and street parking on the main and side street and is easily walkable from many places on town. Check it out on your next Lake George visit!
Food is outstanding!! Service was even BETTER! Love this place !! Farm to Table food is prepared to perfection! Highly Recommend a visit.
Very basic but good bar and restaurant, a nice feeling. Great food
It's always a great time for me to hangout with my friends here. We either dine here or grab some drinks at the bar. Service is fast and the bartender is really friendly. You can ask them to recommend you some drinks!
Party of 2 sat at the bar on a Friday night in September, even if you think it might be a slow night, get a reservation to be sure. Nice bar selection as well.Friendly service and great food, Will definitely be back. FYI, the house specialty is a magnificent pork chop.
We visited for our first time in the Summer of 2022. I had the soft-shell crab special. The dish was terrible. The crab was mushy with absolutely no flavor. There was water all over my plate. My wife had the buffalo Chicken Macaroni, and it was expensive and non-appetizing. The restaurant was dark and drab. This was the worst place we ate while visiting Lake George.
Frankly this place was bussin. Came here with a bunch of hungry guys and was very impressed. The menu looked expensive, but when we got our food the portions more than made up for the pricing. The brisket poutine was massive (pictured below). In addition, it was also bussin. The entrées were enormous and tasty. I have frankly never seen pork chops so big in my life, and there were two of them. The potatoes and green beans it came with were also nice. The chops were seasoned really well. The mac and cheese had breadcrumbs and a very flavorful cheese sauce. The only complaint I had was water not being refilled in a timely manner, but I still highly recommend coming here.
The place is a pub. So maybe as a pub during the evening it's a very good place. No idea. As a family lunch destination we found it to be dark and not that clean (greased chairs, unclean windows, water stains on ceiling, old carpet). The host (and waiter) was very nice. As for the food, there is a kids' menu and pub food that was good. No vegetarian verity. So my recommendation is, go for it as a pub, not souch much as lunch destination.
Solid spot. Not very lively for a Friday night, but we were on the earlier side of dinner and I guess it's off season. We shared frog legs, a blackened chicken quesadilla & the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Our sides we fries and a huge 'side' of amazing pasta salad. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly!

Great food, scallops were amazing! Seasame crusted Tuna was melt in your mouth. Even the kids chicken tenders were delicious, can tell they were homemade. Service was friendly, though they seemed short staffed.
Kid-friendliness: Fairly laid back spot, almost every tables had kids.
I had seen the wonderful reviews and thought we should try. I had the fish tacos and my guest had the shrimp and lobster burger. She thought the burger was pretty good but was a bit dry. The tacos were sopping wet and lacked any flavor. Fries did not come out fresh. The windows could use some Windex. The chicken sandwich which we did not try did look appetizing. The waitresses were pleasant but I don't feel this place lived up to the 4.5 star rating as the reviews suggested.
This restaurant is a bit hidden behind the arcade but it's well worth looking for. The food is wonderful and such a pleasant surprise because it looks like a tavern. The steak was big , and perfectly done . My husband pork chop was huge and delicious also. Very friendly attentive staff also. We highly recommend visiting there.
Another delicious meal last night! Had the cod fresh flaky delicious . We also ordered the shrimp lobster burger perfectly cooked very good. The servers are friendly and helpful pricing very reasonable for high end food. So glad we found this gem we will be regulars all year long.
Our waitress was friendly and accommodating, The dinner salads were great, however no dressing options were given to us so we all got the vinaigrette (would much rather preferred ranch-even though the vinaigrette was excellent). The appetizers (short rib putine and callimari )were great, the chicken dish we got was wonderful-but when it came to the more expensive dishes-not so great. The scallops were not seared at all, very fishy tasting ( i realize it's fish but there was no seasoning). The rib eye portion was great, however the texture and flavor was poor quality. the potatoes were not cooked properly, however the mixed vegetable medley was very tasty.
