Awesome find for high quality pub grub and well-made/well-balanced cocktail's. Enjoyed the Applewood BBQ wings, which were fried perfectly. They make their own blue cheese. Itās terrific. Delicious burgers

Best craft beer selection in the Lake George area, lots of variety.
Their nachos were top notch, really liked the less traditional chips, almost like pita chips, which went well with their toppings, and a mound of finely diced salsa in the center. WILL have this again the next time I'm in town. Tried the Blueberry beer (#13), and had a second. Both tenders happy to pour a sample befor committing.
Nice vibe, good food, and easy to join in conversation with the locals at this establishment. It's a quaint spot where you can kick back after a busy day, or just to get away.

Went here for some late night food and were pleasantly surprised! The food was amazing. The deviled eggs were what spiked our interest and they did not disappoint. However the dish of the night were the short rib tacos. I would go back just for those tacos. The bartender was great, very friendly and very personable. Would take the trip back to Lake George just to go here again!
Amazing - dined in, ordered the catfish fries which were incredibly fresh. Our waitress, April, was an absolute gem! Highly recommend!

New Year Day in Lake George after 1pm. It's time for lunch. I had a gift certificate for the Lakeside Restuarant at Ft. William Henry but they shut down exactly at 1pm. Now what ? My wife wanted chicken so I put in the search for the best chicken restaurant nearby. The search winner was the Tap Room. We are not bar people but Tap Room did not dissapoint at all. The chef here is dedicated to his craft and certainly our server April was a master in articulating the quality of their offerings My wife and I immediately knew we could trust April in guiding us through the food options. Each of our needs choices were best selected with April's instinctive appreciation of our wants. I got a non-alcoholic beer, the bison chili, and the hot ramono chese wings. My wife got the garden flat bread and a salad with chicken. All was so fresh and tasty. The chili was top shelf served with nacho chips which were not salt. Let's not forget the cheddar topping giving a nice dipping mixture with the chip. Next came my wings. They were just a bit of spicey but not too hot. The romano cheese in the sauce was a perfect blend. The wings had a nice crisp exterior and a meaty interior. The celrey was fresh cut and clean. The blue cheese dressing was house made & ultra cheesy. I had to ask for an extra container, as it was so good. My wife had her share of food enjoyment as well eating her fresh veggies and chicken. Really, this was a total winner. The prices were very fair, the food arrived to our table very quickly, and April was a great guide to meet our needs. Thank you.
So happy to find this place after a long car ride. It was quite late (after 9pm), but the kitchen was still serving up great food and drinks! My two little ones had a great time and the staff was so accommodating. The whole family enjoyed the build-your-own sāmores! This was truly a special experience on a cold winter night.
Vegetarian options: I had the Cranberry Walnut Salad. It was a large portion and quite tasty! Our server allowed me to add avocado and it was perfect. :)
Kid-friendliness: We had our 2 year old and our 5 year old. We felt comfortable and welcomed from the start.

Fun place, literally is a tap room. Hard to give a bad rating because it was what i expected plus some. Tables lined the perimeter of the room opposite the bar, large hangout area in between, was post event on arrival. Large crowd hanging out so was a bit loud. extremely large beer selection with several on tap. Hard to read tap menu from tables. Large selection of bar food with options for all. Had some outdoor seating for nicer weather. Waitress was very attentive. Overall positive experience
Parking: Lot was behind building. Free but was off season. Could picture different during peak season

Have walked by many times and finally stopped in for lunch. Greeted quickly and seated by a very friendly waitress. Amazing beer on tap selection, no idea why you'd even read the canned beer menu! Had a nice Charlie Brown Amber ale that was excellent. Also offered a taste of the porter and that was also good. Ordered broccoli cheddar soup and a side of corn bread. Both outstanding. Then the burnt turkey ends taco special menu item. Wow - that was really super tasty along with the cous-cous side. What a great choice with the taco flavors. Shrimp popped chips also excellent. And everything was very fairly priced. Could be our new fave in the Village. Must go back! Really a must try if you live locally.
