If I could them 0 stars I would. 36.41 for 1 burger and 3 pieces of fish with 2 shakes. DO NOT EAT here. Had to clean off our own table, garbage bins full, service sucked. Unhappy!!!

The food is not like it used to be most of it was not tasty. The inside of the shack need cleaning. The only thing that was half way good was the fries. The sodas tasted different possibley from the water.

Their food there is quite good! & rather iconic also! Their atmosphere is terrific!, outside tables under cover! & under trees! Their prices are decent!, you got to remember that your in Lake George in the summer too! I would definitely recommend it! It brings back some great memories for sure!

Not as good as it was under previous owner. Hamburgers dry and tasteless. Outrageously expensive for burgers. Been going there for years but will not go again.

Definitely NOT the A&W from the past. A&W has gotten so cheap with their quality that they should be paying customers to eat it. Everything is cheap frozen food and it shows. I get it; a frozen burger or chicken. Almost every fast food joint is doing it. The fries are worse than terrible and the ketchup was probably from a Dollar stores dumpster. Of course the pricing did NOT reflect the quality at all. It wasn't that expensive however it definitely didn't justify the total lack of quality. I see they have great reviews for ice cream; too bad we were not taking the chance and left without finishing our orders. And no we didn't take it home for the dog; he doesn't deserve that punishment...

Nice experience. Fun, polite, accomidating, and friendly staff. First time there. I only got cheese curds and they were the best cheese curds I ever had At a restaurant. The food was prepared fresh and super super fast. I look forward to going back there when I'm in the area to get The Onion rings and a burger. The step into the bathroom is real high so be careful.Kid-friendliness: Yes. It's fun to take picture with the mascot et ceteraParking: Small parking lot off the side of the highway so be careful

We recently ate at the A&W in Wilmington NY and just finished eating here in Lake George, NY. The menu is slightly different, but the food is top notch. I got the double bacon cheese burger and my wife got the chicken tenders. Onion rings, and cheese curds, and of course, root beer floats.Excellent!
