Had a great time at the Barnsider. The food was fantastic, the service was spot-on, and the atmosphere was fun. Definitely recommend if you're in Lake George and looking for good BBQ!

I was so excited to eat here. We waited almost 45 mins for a table when we were told it would be 20 mins but we were good with it because everything looked good. The cornbread was moist and tasted amazing. The meats were a huge bust, just a straight disappointment. The green bean fries were amazing. The Mac and cheese was so plain it tasted like just straight noodles. The onion rings were really good. It was sad the sides blew the meats out of the water. I left 75% of my meal on the table and didnt even want a box when we left and that should say something about the quality of food. The outdoor vibes were nice and the heaters were great.

Talk about going downhill, we came here a few years ago and the food was great. Today was another story, the smoked spare ribs looked like baby back and barely warm looked like yesterday's leftovers, the brisket burnt ends were cold gray color and tough as shoe leather and the soft pieces were the fat! The mac and cheese flavorless I tried to taste any cheese at all but tasted like flour paste. Wife's bbq chicken leg quarter was barely warm and very dry.

Great staff and amazing vibe. Steak was awesome perfectly cooked I would recommend the balsamic vinaigrette for a salad. the corn bread is made in house and is perfectly fluffy and dense great addition to any meal!

Ordered the Rachel. They said they didn't have any turkey then she came back and said they had enough for 1 more. We waited 15 minutes for a server then 15 minutes for drinks then our food came and it was ok. I got so sick later from the turkey. Not sick enough for the er but enough for the green mile towards the camp latrine all night long. Tried to call and let them know was put on hold. Prices good at under 60 plus tip beer good on tap. Don't recommend but that just my experience. I wont eat turkey for a while now .....but it is what it is. I call a spade a spade. My fiancé loved his BB.Q I paid for the meal. At least he made out well and full.

The place overall was nice and pleasant. But the food, could have been better. It's not disgusting, the apps were decent but the entrees were not the best. My kids did love the ribs

We called in a pick up order and asked to switch the slaw in the family plan because our kids don’t like it. They said normally they could but it was busy so they couldn’t. I ordered 2 lb to go sides along with the family plan for 4, they estimated 45 minutes. We were running late getting there so they called to see if we were still coming and we said we’d be there in less than 10. When we got there, we waited about 15 minutes for them to pack up the food? They did switch the slaw for one of the sides we had ordered before giving us the check because they said it wasn’t busy anymore. Twice we were asked if we needed stuff to eat with. We said yes and realized when unpacking the food at our hotel that they didn’t include silverware, paper plates, or anything. $80 for the family plan for 4 and an extra lb side to go but nothing to eat it with. Portions seemed smaller than they should have been. Taste was good, nothing amazing. The Mac and cheese was the biggest disappointed. It was very different than the pictures, completely lacking in any layer of orange cheese and cheesiness in general. Overall we were disappointed and won’t be back.
