We were greeted and seated by a pleasant young lady, Janice. Our server was Nickie. Nickie is outstanding. She handles the hectic pace with ease, finding time for pleasant exchanges, during service. Her knowledge of the restaurant's offerings and the property overall, are excellent. Cocktails were great. Food was great. Dessert was interesting and Nickie helped us rescue it with some added treats! We choose Marriott Lake George and Charlies for our 44th wedding anniversary...
We dined here for our small staycation in Lake George, only a couple of options were open that day and it was a good choice. It’s located inside Marriott on first floor. Food was good. Ambience is ok. Food was fresh, tasted delicious and was out of kitchen in 15 minutes. We took Jack Daniel burger and fish tacos. Portion size were good and Both were served hot.
Every review I read said how amazing the Seafood rissoto was. If I was home, I probably would have licked the plate clean! The shrimp and scallops were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The French Onion Soup was also out of this world. Now breakfast? It wasn't that good. Eggs were overcooked. Coffee was so bold it tasted burnt. I'd definitely go back for the rissoto!!
