Pancakes seemed a little under cooked. Very light no color.

Terrible experience. Food was subpar (the “colossal breakfast” was tiny), and the staff was extremely rude. I even saw a waitress run outside to confront customers over a tip — aggressive and scary behavior. Stay away. And whatever you do don’t order ONIONS. My child is still traumatized from seeing the angry waitress run out to yell at the customer about her tip.

Their steak was juicy and filling. And their pancakes were big and flavorful too.

We arrived to meet two friends who had already been there for a bit and already eaten with some other friends. But because the party that left was 3 people they insisted we move to a 4 person booth (now that there were four as opposed to five). ?? Ok, not that big a deal. The service was definitely slow as it took quite a while to get the food after ordering. We were about to ask if something was wrong and then the food showed up. Service was friendly though, not issue there. Food was adequate, nothing spectacular, but also expensive. Certainly not worth the price. All in all, I wish I could give the place a better review because I liked the rustic decor and I love to support local joints but I can't do better then this.

Absolutely terrible; would give it zero stars if possible. They charge dinner menu prices for a measly breakfast... $46 for two people before tip, and every side is extra money and overpriced. It was $4 for a small mug of coffee with no free refills, $4.50 for two slices of bacon, and other sides are just as overpriced and small portions. Eggs were undercooked and runny, French toast was undercooked and cold, and the staff was rude... not so much as a “bye” when we left. We would pay for a good breakfast, but this place is a complete rip-off. Avoid it.

The silver dollar pancakes were great. The bacon was amazing and cooked perfectly. No soda or carbonated beverages. It was very good overall!

I’ve been coming to LG for years and tried this for the first time in July. Despite the service being slow, the food was good, so we decided to come back with family today. The server was rude, didn’t bring what we asked for (a cup of water multiple times), acted annoyed when we had to ask again, didn’t bring us extra creamer for our coffees and when we asked again, she turned around to a table behind her that still had guests sitting at it and picked up their creamer and gave it to us. When it came time for the check, she ignored us, went to another brand new table full of people she knew and then started talking about us saying that we were antsy and impatient (we had been at breakfast well over an hour at this point). We ended up getting up and asking the host, who turned out to be the owner, for the check and complained about our experience. Beware, you may receive recycled items here apparently. For the cost, what an awful and disgusting experience.

Very disappointing experience at Flapjack Pete’s. The food was just okay, but it took over an hour for two simple plates of eggs and pancakes. The service was slow, inattentive, and no one bothered to update us on why breakfast was taking so long. To make matters worse, the bill was way too high for such basic food.
Not worth the wait or the cost. I wouldn’t go back.

A man climbing the mountain with a raccoon and pancakes
The price was horrific for what they served. The food was burnt and bland. I wanted to go there every time and now I 100% regret it. I do not recommend at all!!!!

Spent a weekend in Lake George and went here for breakfast. The atmosphere fit right into the lake life. The food was great as well as the service. We came here because I saw it on tik tok and they mentioned the candied bacon is to die for and it is. 😊. It's a family owned business that goes to get there produce from farms so everything is fresh.

Ok...I am sorry but this place has totally gone down hill. I don't even know where to begin. Coming to Lake George for years and we have always made Flapjacks our first stop. 45 minutes to get some eggs just doesnt seem ok when it wasnt busy. Don't waste your money. $55.00 For two people to have stale untoasted bread, greasy eggs that weren't very hot, and hash browns that you have to pay like $4.00 extra for that tasted as if they sat out all night. No joke. The coffee was luke warm and when I asked our waitress if the next cup could be a little hotter she brought me a cup of the same Luke warm coffee. The table was sticky, the salt and pepper shaker dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. Cobwebs hanging from the stuffed birds on the walls... I was actually pretty shocked because this used to be a great place. We weren't the only ones that felt disgusted. You could hear other tables reacting very similiarly. When I mention it to the front desk of where we are staying, they said...oh don't go there. It's terrible! Too bad we didn't ask before hand. I hope all these reviews will help the owners realize they need to do something.
