Have you ever been to a restaurant where the server just disappeared halfway through your meal? That’s exactly what happened during our family’s 50th anniversary celebration dinner — and to say we were disappointed is an understatement.
The food was rushed out and not cooked the way we requested. We had to ask for drink refills, and no one ever came by to offer coffee or dessert. On top of that, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill — even though the service was far from deserving.
Our waitress took our order, brought one round of drinks, and then vanished because she had to bartend (since there was no bartender on duty). She never arranged for anyone to cover her tables, leaving us completely unattended. The table was crowded with dirty dishes and glasses the entire time.
The lack of organization and professionalism was shocking. It’s not about the money — it’s about the experience and how we were treated. What should have been a special, joyful evening turned into aggravation and disappointment.

Worst experience, dont waste your money! Food sub par and over priced and service was horrible. Had a 50th anniversary dinner for 14 people our waitress delivered our food and never came back. We had to find our own untensiles and dishes to serve desert to top it off they didnt even acknowledge that they abandoned us. This was booked a month prior so they had plenty of time to prepare. They ruined our family’s special occasion!

Took the wife and 2 small children there this past week during the car show. walked in around 5:30 Friday evening with no reservations and were quickly seated by the salad bar. Kids and myself loved the décor especially the huge mounted bear. I mean we are in the Adirondacks am I right?! Our younger male server was outstanding. quickly brought me my fantastic tasting old fashioned and was very polite and attentive. Salad bar was great. My wife and I loved the mini croutons, shaved parmesan, pasta salad and fresh bacon bits to mention. We ordered the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp were of a good steak house quality, nice and big. not those cheap smaller ones you see at other restaurants. We both ordered the prime rib and absolutely loved. Perfectly cooked and had a delicious salted crust. We are already planning on coming back. Thank you
Ps. Thank you to the lady who put Au jus in a soup cup to go for us wrapped in saran wrap for safe transporting. It 100% made the next day left over so so good. We will see you again soon!
