I wanted to try the donuts, I came 3 Sunday's in a row and wasn't able to get one. The hours were a bit confusing to find for my first visit, so I came around 9am and the donuts had already sold out. Found out they're currently Thurs - Sun 8am- 2 or 3pm. I also wanted to try the fudge fancies, they were pretty good. Also grabbed a cinnamon roll, it was ok, kind of dry but good frosting. The following Sunday, I got there early and they had no donuts yet available, so they recommended an eclair. It was good, just not my go to. Then tried again the following Sunday and was told they're done making donuts for the season. So I ended up trying a pumpkin muffin and halfmoon or black and white cookie. They're good, I'd recommend the cookie of the 2. Maybe will try next year to get some donuts here.

I visited lake George and I was craving something sweet. I went on my phone and searched for bakeries nearby and stumbled across this bakery. I went in looking for a slice and carrot cake and thankfully there was a few slices left. The slice of carrot cake was moist,sweet and delicious.

The cake made for mom's 80th birthday dinner was spot on for what I requested. Mom and the guests all enjoyed it and I would definitely go back here again and highly recommend the Lake George Baking Company to others. Delicious and great!

My husband ordered a half sheet red velvet cake for a birthday party. Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful, but it was THE BEST red velvet cake I've ever had. Perfect in every way. The cream cheese frosting was not overly sweetened, but was nice and tangy. The cake itself was super moist. I really think it was worth every cent we spent on it. I usually make the cakes for our family but I think I can fully retire now and just order from Lake George Baking Co from now on lol.

My favourite I have to Say are the almond cookies dipped in chocolate and of course, their apple turnovers

There are a variety of bake goods at reasonable prices. Tried a cinnamon wrap, cake, cheesecake, apple turnover, and a fruit pastry all were good. Staff was friendly when trying to figure out what to buy. Got all those items for $20.

I go here from time to time and almost all the time it's good. But I really have to complain about their Jelly Donuts. They were hard like they had them for 5 days and hardly any jelly at all. Really Disappointed

My daughter got married in Lake George. We ordered the cake and cupcakes from Lake George Baking Co and I am so glad that we did. The cake was chocolate with chocolate, mousse filling and a buttercream icing and it was absolutely delightful. We also ordered different flavored cupcakes. We got red velvet with the cream cheese icing, vanilla cake with cookies and cream frosting and chocolate with buttercream frosting. All the guests, myself and the bride and groom were raving about how delicious everything was. I even had guests go back for seconds. Thank you to Donna who helped us with the order. My daughter and I were not in Lake George at the time of placing the order. We communicated with Donna via email and on the phone. She helped and guided us through the ordering process since we were unable to be there in person. If you are getting married in Lake, George or having any event in the Lake George area that requires a cake or cupcakes I would definitely recommend the Lake George Baking Company.

Stopped in for some pastry. We were looked over twice so I can only say service was disappointing. I can't say anything about the food because we were never waited on.

the lobster tail with canoli filling, homemade whipped cream and strawberries was devine!

Everything tasted fine but it was all mushy. Nothing was flakey and it didn't feel fresh. Like if you had good fresh baked treats you left in the car overnight.

This bakery is easily a 5 star but nobody ever knows when its open. Owner suggested calling ahead.

I ordered a birthday cake from Lake Geroge bakery mid June for July 8th. I was told that they would not be open on the 8th because they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. But they assured me that if I ordered a “Buttercream” cake and picked it up on Sunday , the 6th late in the day the cake would still be fresh for the 8th. The day I placed the order over the phone, the girl said TWICE “I will see you Sunday” and TWICE I corrected her and said “No not this Sunday, it’s for the 6th at 3:00”. And she said “oh yes yes not this Sunday “. Well, sure enough they called me at 3:30 on Sunday June 29th and said my cake was ready! Before I could tell them it’s not today, it’s next Sunday, the girl corrected herself and said “omg this cake is next Sunday. Nevermind”. I said “I hope you can sell that “. She said oh yes no problem “. Well they were closing soon and they would be closed for the next two days so I found it hard to believe they would sell that cake while it was fresh. Afraid they would freeze it until the next Sunday, I called them a few days later (Wednesday) and told them I wanted to change the filling to raspberry and they said that’s and extra $16 charge ….so they charged my credit card another $16.49 extra for raspberry filling. I didn’t care because I just wanted a fresh cake for 8 family members who were flying here for this birthday party. I picked the cake up on Sunday the 6th and took it home. When we cut into the cake, there was the Original VANILLA filling (icing) and no raspberry filling. The cake was not fresh. It tasted like it had been frozen. The buttercream was hard. This was a total disappointment. I guess they didn’t want to make another cake with the raspberry filling!!!! I called and them and told them and they didn’t even question it! So they knew what they did! They did credit me the $16 but I guess they couldn’t be bothered making another cake with the raspberry filling when this was THEIR MISTAKE making the cake one whole week before the date I told them.
One expensive cake! I wouldn’t care if it was fresh! And on top of that , they weren’t honest!
