Excellent salad bar. Husband got ribs and he enjoyed them.We were told we could only sit in the bar area, which was dark, of course. Seating by the salad bar looked wonderful, but we couldn't sit out there. Not sure why, since there was plenty of seating available.

Can't tell you how the food was b/c we did stay.. Just left after waiting nearly 10 minutes with another female placing napkins on nearby tables in the garden section. No one approached our table, not even to say "we will have someone attend to you in a minute". The garden section had a slight musty smell. Finally decided to go elsewhere in Glen Falls, but not before notifying the young hostess, that we were leaving since no one is tending to that section. Also, I informed her that there was another couple seated at nearby table so they don't have to wait as long.

Such a wonderful homey restaurant the food is wonderful and the salad and bread bar is perfect to hold you over until your food comes and everything is so good and it's kept clean. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

We went to the log jam today for Easter dinner. We've always been a big fan of this restaurant and I've had wonderful meals. Five of us ordered the ham dinner which was absolutely horrible. The pineapple sauce was disgusting. The ham tasted like a slice of spam. We did not eat our meals. Two people ordered the turkey dinner which was cold and didn't have much flavor. Also a child ordered macaroni and cheese and it was literally Kraft macaroni and cheese! The prices were outlandish for what we received which we didn't eat. Upon receiving the bill we were given a $16 credit for all the meals that weren't eaten. Pretty sad. Unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant anymore. PS 300$ later

We stopped at The Log Jam for Lunch. My bride had a French Dip sandwich and I had a burger special. We both were very happy with our meals. All meals, even burgers and sandwiches, include the salad bar. The salad bar is very nice with a decent selection of quality items. I had a Caesar salad, marinated mushrooms and a wild rice salad. Everything was delicious! They make their own salads and dressings. and they were very flavorful without being overly salty which is typically the case. We will definitely stop again when in the area.

We enjoyed a great meal with friendly service. We went for an early dinner and it got really busy while we were there but we were not rushed out. Allergies were well accommodated.Dietary restrictions: The people in our party with a gluten allergy had great options, including dessert.

Friendly staff and the atmosphere was welcoming. Really enjoyed that they had a real fire in the fire place and not an electric one. Food was ok but not great, very bland.
