My husband and I both had pancakes, mine plain, his blueberry. They were large, plate sized basically, but were
NOT fluffy, rather they were gummy, pasty in texture.
Wouldn't return.

When 1st opened, served bkfst, lunch & dinner. Around 1989, began only serving bkfst. Sign still says Pancakes-Steaks. As a nod to their past, the serve Steak and eggs...Eggs any style, steak, homefries, and either 3 Pancakes or toast. My husband liked it. Omelets are good, and I saw a lot of customers order the French Raisin Cinnamon Toast. It's big inside and can accommodate a lot of people, so don't be discouraged if you see people out the door. Service is great and portion sizes are like they are from Texas! Family owned. Cute decor. Definitely worth the stop!! Wish they had gluten free options.

Barely toasted my muffin on my eggs benedict. Also looks like the cook got in a fight with it. Waitress never came back and asked how it was. I was hungry so I ate it and staying at the hotel here but wouldn't make a trip to come here.

Hello , I took my Family to the Lone Bull restaurant for the first time during our stay in lake George 7, 2025. It was around 9:00am in the morning with only a few families dinning . The server was Shannon who asked us half way through our meal , How's everything and I'm not rushing you but I was wondering if you would like to take a cup of coffee with you that meanwhile is on our table already . So I said that would be nice thanks . When the waitress Shannon gave me the bill she charged me for another coffee without telling me first . I could have sat at my table longer enjoying my coffee but she offered me a container for the coffee I already paid for . meanwhile the restaurant was 3/4 empty . Yes the food was good but I feel this was a very unprofessional !

Dear owner of the Lone Bull , I appreciate you replying back to my first review of your restaurant but I would like to clear thing up . I never asked your waitress Shannon for a coffee to go . She ask me if I would like to take the coffee on our table that I was drinking already in a to - Go cup ! . So I hope this clears thing up for you and maybe retaining your employees who work one day a week or seven days a week so other customers don't get charged for something they never asked for . Best Regards

Server was very sweet and tried to reassure us that our food would be put in time but we waited an extra 30 minutes ontop of a hour and a half for our food just for it to come out warm and mediocre. Overall service was two stars. I got the short ribs with home-fries and home-fries were undercooked in some parts.

I had a great experience at The Lone Bull. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked, with a buttery flavor that stood out. The potatoes were well-seasoned and crispy—definitely a solid side. What really stood out, though, was the strawberry milkshake. It was rich, creamy, and tasted like it was made with real strawberries. Simple, comforting food done right. I recommend for anyone looking for a quick breakfast!!

Super expensive, with such small portions. Ordered corn beef hash meal, that comes with 3 pancakes and 2 eggs, and the only good thing about it was the eggs. The pancakes were the size of a sand dollar, and the corn beef hash came in a flat rectangle that barely took up half the plate. Don’t reccomend

It’s such a shame, have been coming up here and visiting this establishment for years! Since the new owners took over everything has gotten smaller and yet prices stay the same. Their sign says “home of the big breakfast” but that is not an accurate description of what they offer now. All of us finished our plates and we’re still hungry. They give you now silver dollar sized pancakes. Charged my young daughter almost $17 for an English muffin, smallest side of potatoes and three slices of bacon! You should be ashamed of yourself new owners!!!

said it was open on their google page, but it was actually closed. Went away hungry.

Food was mediocre, service was pretty good, atmosphere was OK other than the music they were playing (Van Halen, AC/DC, etc.) The menu was weird. They grouped stuff together that normally isn’t grouped together and would cost a small fortune if we ordered things the way we wanted. We won’t be going back, but I’m sure there are people that would be just fine with the menu and mediocre food. Nope, not a fake review. Sorry, just honest based on our experience.
