Really awful place. Ignore the fake reviews from staff and soft through you’ll fine the real reviews. We debated leaving after the waitress took the order and we should have. Rude and unpleasant - zero flexibility. There is no kids menu here so they’ll charge your toddler full price and also refuse to tweak the set menus to suit. Coffee pot is put on your table and charge per head so if there is 10 of you on the table, it’s a $40 pot! Finally, when the food actually arrived, it was truly awful. Cold pancakes, inedible ‘home fries’ which were fried onions and burnt cold potato bits. The eggs were flat inedible rubber chewy things. Poached eggs were watery and undercooked. The steak ordered rare came out burnt to a crisp on one side and well done leather. Just truly awful - oh and they know the service is very poor because they treat themselves to adding 20% gratuity before tax and before they give you the bill. This goes to the house, not the waitress. It’s also very expensive - $65 for myself and a toddler for breakfast. Avoid.Dietary restrictions: Wouldn’t cater for food intolerance. Deeply inflexible.Kid-friendliness: Definitely NOT kid friendly.

We visited after reading the glowing reviews, not quite sure what restaurant they were reviewing though as it clearly wasn't this one. We found our server to be quite rude and blunt. The food, when it did arrive, was either cold, completely overcooked, or lacking in any substance (the 4 egg omelette must've used quails eggs for example..) the cherry on top was when our request to split our tab was met with the statement they couldn't do that as it would take 20-30 mins to do.. seriously, not worth it!

Slow and inflexible service, cold food when it did arrive and inability to split the bill. Worst dining experience I've had in the US in 23 yrs of visiting. Would definitely not recommend, and can only assume the glowing reviews have been written by staff!

Coming here for over 25 years and they never fail to satisfy. Friendly, quick service, even at the height of the season. Food is fresh and delicious. They don’t bring you just a cup of coffee, but a pot along with it. Large, clean country place. Plenty of spacious seating, large parking area. Very comfortable place to sit and relax. We love it.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Perfect for the whole family.

Traditional American diner with incredibly friendly staff and a nice clean establishment. The price is just right and the food is really tasteful. Easy to park a truck and trailer.

5/5! This restaurant was recommended by a coworker, and on trip advisor. The service was friendly, the food came out fast, and it was delicious! About 10 minutes outside of the busy side of lake George, my husband and I were very pleased!

Glad we made it back. Great food. Don't miss that cinnamon bun! I put it in my last review and when I went back and read it I had to order it! We were a large group with kids and they are so accommodating. Service was a little slow but that's because they are packed. Which is a great thing! Keep it up!

We took our 5 month old son every day to the Lone Bull that we stayed during our vacation. The staff are great, the food has delicious/large portions...everything we had was great!

We looked forward to this place for the best breakfast in the lake George area ,have been coming here many many years, and always recommend it. however since the new ownership , we can see that profit over product has kicked in .My wife had two pieces of raisin French toast ,very lame, I had the eggs Benedict and two coffees. $35.00 plus tip ,REALLY! Slogan” Home of the big breakfast we dare you to go away hungry” Well you will go away hungry and your wallet will be lighter too. We went to Rathbun’s in North Granville for a real country breakfast the next day, worth the ride. Will not be recommending this place in the future.

Was just at the restaurant over this past weekend leading up to Labor Day. I’m sorry, but I’m baffled by most of the comments.I didn’t find the food to be delicious at all. Very basic. Syrup was watery. I had the French connection- eggs were dry, French toast seemed to be from a bag or box from supermarket, and not a very good brand. Other family with me did not enjoy their meals.Service was good, our waitress was attentive.

Best breakfast we’ve ever had! We both got the build your own omelette with a side of pancakes. So incredibly delicious. Our new favorite breakfast spot! Omelettes we’re perfectly cooked with the appropriate amount of toppings to egg ratio and the pancakes were fluffy and very flavorful. Dakota was our server and we can see why some request him, great service and wonderful experience all around. We can’t wait to return next year

Waitress was not happy that we had to ask that the table be wiped again before we sat to eat. Then was so quick to take our order kept coming over asking if we were ready. Bothersome. And then couldn't wait to bring us our bill. Crumbly scrambled eggs. And is that how you really serve your eggs with cheese...Slap 2 slices of cheese on them. No wonder they weren't busy. Don't waste your time or money.

I’ll start off with the positive, the staff was friendly and the service was good. I love breakfast and I was excited to try the pancakes: it’s in the name so they should be great right? Unfortunately they were flavorless and tasted like a box mix. The coffee tasted like instant coffee although it was nice that they brought out the extra pot(I feel bad that I didn’t drink it but the thought was there)
