Went here for dinner with my husband while visiting Lake George for our 15th anniversary. Food is good but the service is lacking. Our waitress was missing and we had to flag her down to ask for bread half way through our meal as we were never given any (it was on all the other tables) and then find her again 15 min later to tell her we never got it. She then tells us we were lying and she watched someone bring it to our table. Soooo... apparently people are bread thieves in Lake George? I was appalled! She then walked away and didn't come back. She never asked if we wanted another drink or anything. Thankfully another waitress stopped to check on us after we asked her for bread and she brought it to us right away. She also cleared our table and had to find our waitress to get our check. I still can't believe that we were called liars over bread and spent $100 on dinner! Generally bread at an Italian restaurant is a given. Not a good look. She threw the check on the table and walked away. We gave a tip to the other waitress. Word of advice, don't ask for bread!

Maybe educate your staff to treat people with respect as you never know who you are talking to or who is seeing their behavior and bad news spreads faster than good.

Stopped in a couple weeks ago, 10 year old daughter was very hungry but the rest of the family was not. Asked if we could place an order to go for her. Woman behind the bar was very nice and was happy to, however her mother (I’m assuming the owner) who was seated at the bar gave total attitude, acting like they are too good to do this. Mind you, it was not busy at all. Lady, your restaurant is not special, is totally outdated and is not a 5 star restaurant so get off your high horse. I feel sorry for your daughter who has to deal with your nonsense.

I normally don’t write reviews, but after this experience I feel it’s important to give a fair warning so others aren’t disappointed.

Our first impression walking in was not great—the carpet had an unpleasant odor, almost like old Parmesan lingering in the fibers. For appetizers, we ordered fried calamari, which tasted good but the portion was surprisingly small. For my salad, I asked for a wedge, but instead of iceberg lettuce they served romaine, which was another letdown.

My wife ordered the chicken Marsala, but the chicken was tough and had an odd crunch, almost like leather. I ordered the veal in butter and garlic sauce, but it was heavily breaded and fried, and the richness of the sauce made it overwhelming and hard to eat.

Service didn’t help the experience either—our waitress rolled her eyes when we asked her to clear the appetizer plates after serving the main course, something that should have been done automatically.

Overall, this restaurant was far from authentic Italian and left us very disappointed.

Found my Alfredo very odd. Sauce was basically just runny cream with shredded cheese all over it, the cheese all stuck to the bottom of the plate and some bite were pasta with chewy wads of cheese. No velvety sauce. Bit pricey the quality. Even my kids pasta with butter was over $25. Not on the menu, so I think we were charged for garlic and oil on pasta.

Service and atmosphere are spectacular. The food on the other hand is subpar maybe for tourist that don’t know real Italian cuisine might find it to be satisfactory. They use frozen mini meatballs just leave it at that.

Went for dinner last night and it was VERY disappointed. I think the food is over prices for what you get. The salad was small and not fresh. Our waitress not that friendly. We won't be returning.

Ordered French onion soup to go , packed in a pint size container mostly beef broth with croutons and small amount of melted cheese, had to ask for utensils and then they threw in a package of crackers. Will not order that again for sure as this is NOT how French Onion Soup is usually prepared

Service was standard and ambiance a little outdated but everything was clean. However the food was horrible especially considering the price. I got baked stuffed shrimp for $36 and the shrimp was boiled with no flavor over a few scoops of stuffing over pasta with no sauce. The portion didn’t even make up the minimal effort dish. Unless they step it up, I recommend not wasting your money here.

Food was okay. Service was terrible. Our waitress was not friendly and seemed to be rushing us with our order. We waited over 15 minutes to have our water refilled, twice and the 10 minutes for her to take our payment. I had to stop another waitresses to ask to have Someone take our payment
