Love these white table cloth establishments that have been an anchor in the community for so long!Warm bread, good French onion soup and sautéed shrimp but I didn’t care for the marinara sauce (“gravy”). Main courses were on the smaller side for the price.

This LG staple year round is a must try if in the area ! Usually are go to Around valentines ! Inside is a little dated but hey, it’s been there since the early 1960s ! The Waitresses are excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable ! Drinks are always on point ! Clams casino as an appetizer is our absolute favorite ! It’s an Italian place, but they can cook seafood that’s for sure any of that is a must try ! Wont be disappointing if you save room for dessert either?

The French onion soup was the best I've ever tasted! Really delish, apparently a family recipie the owner told me. The chicken parmesan is consistently excellent. Almost always open, a friendly place to meet the local crowd. Very popular, don't miss it.

Decided to go Italian while in Lake George. We are Italians who loves food. The atmosphere and service were very good . I had the spaghetti and meatballs (this is how I judge italian) and my wife had the Chicken Marsala and though they were good just not what I expect for Italian. So that is why I go 4 stars here.

Decided to stay in lake George as a midpoint to our destination. It was around 7:40 on Saturday night and figured the restaurant would be dying down since they close at 9. Upon entering from the pouring rain, we were immediately greeted by the hostess pretty much in the door asking if I had a reservation. I saw empty tables so I assumed they may have been reserved. I thought they didn’t accept reseverstions and her response was people make reservations weeks in advance With alittle tude. Okay 1/2 hour wait and I thought to myself, wow, the food must be fantastic if people reserve weeks in advance. My husband ordered the ministrone soup which was hot and delicious. Salad was just iceberg lettuce a couple coucumbers and cherry tomatoes. Nothing too fancy. I ordered the Italian antipasto an entree which was suspicious. I felt as if I got someone’s leftover chicken cutlet, dry and chewy. The stuffed mushrooms are still a mystery to me as the filling hard. The clams casino was a piece of bacon on top of a shell. Neither saw or tasted a clam. The shrimp scampi actually was good. The sauce on the spaghetti was not a “gravy” if you know what I mean. Anyway, my daughters lasagna was served on a plate. When the waitress brought it she stressed “DO NOT TOUCH, IT’S HOT!!!” Plate was hot, lasagna was lukewarm inside. Returned and we will assume it was microwaved. This is how we got this back. I was shocked and decided to keep my mouth shut, because I didn’t want to give my husband indigestion. His meal was the veal parm which he said was good. Omg!!! Hint people, serve your lasagna or baked ziti in a casserole style bowl or get glasses. This was ridiculous and should have never made it back to our table.

Absolutely fabulous! The food was amazing....prices were very fair. But the best part was the service. Our server was so professional yet very sweet. She took her job very seriously and it showed. Came to Mario's 2 nights during our trip and had a fantastic time. Now I know why my parents took me and my sisters when we were little. If your in the lake George area it is a must!!!!
