stopped here for lunch - had the pizza which was different but not bad and very filling- wife had the battered fish which she said was very good.. service was great .. the only negative is that the meal was a bit pricey but it is Lake George a tourist town.. the real question is would we go back and the answer is yes

I went for breakfast we didn't have to wait long we choose second floor. Breskfast was delicious Odered corn hash over easy eggs homefries toast mimosa. Great service. The only thing I am a coffee lover they didn't have cappucino. Everything else was excellent.

Stay away from here at breakfast. The service absolutely sucked. The breakfast (spicy omelet) was horrible and tasteless. I could have sanded the concrete with the toast. No joke! Stay away

I had a great breakfast at Monte Cristos Family Grille. I ordered the combo special, which included two scrambled eggs, two pancakes, two strips of bacon, and home fries. It was a good portion size and was well-prepared. The restaurant is nicely located in the downtown. The atmosphere is pleasant, the food tastes good, and the service was quick. I highly recommend dining at Monte Cristos.

Had barbecued beef sandwich and a N.Y. strip steak with a baked potato. It was done exactly how we asked for it to be done. Both meals were delicious. Our server Lori was attentive and friendly. This restaurant will not disappoint.
Cool double deck so you can see the lake. That’s about the only real positive thing I can say. We ordered 4 apps and none were actually good other than the calamari which wasn’t half bad. Seared tuna was ice cold as if it was pulled out of a freezer, and they don’t serve it with wasabi. Bacon scallops had some strange yellow sauce on top, it is not necessary to put this on a bacon wrapped scallop. Muscles fradiavlo was basically muscles with really chunky tomato sauce on top.
Waiter was nice but when we asked about wasabi he seemed quite clueless.
Bottom line is this is a tourist place. Don’t go if you’re foodies like my wife and I.

RUSHED!! If you want to enjoy your time eating don’t go here! I was there yesterday. Food was not bad pretty good portions. The fish haddock and mahi mahi was pretty tasty but the service was super rushed which is ridiculous that’s why I give 3*. I ordered two appetizers and while eating not even half way the dinner comes out and we are not even eating slow. So now I’m sitting there with my appetizers and dinner on the table. While eating dinner 15 min. later when I’m not even finished he already comes out with the bill. Asking if we wanted the bill or wait… I mean what kind of stupid question is that when you know you’re way too early. In my mind I was like what is the rush for we were literally the only once sitting outside. Me and my boyfriend no one else in the afternoon. It would’ve been so much nicer if this blond guy didn’t rushed us. Literally sat for like 45 min. I’ve never been ruched that fast before and I live in New York. lol

Food was alright service was terrible. The waiter took out drink order and then we never saw him again and the next time he came up was just to hand us the check never checked on us if we needed refills or anything. We had to get up to get our utensils and napkins from the bar and we had to then walk to go pay our check cause he never came back to grab our check

The upper deck has a nice view, but the food and service were disappointing.
The atmosphere on the upper deck was a highlight, with a great view overlooking the street and the lake.
Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The service started out okay, but it became inattentive after our food arrived. The food itself was not good. The calamari was soggy and practically inedible, and the bacon-wrapped scallops were ruined by an excessive amount of sauce that overpowered the dish. The only dish that was enjoyable was the salad with chicken.
