Really good, classic pizza! My photo doesn’t do it justice - it was even better than the picture! The people are extremely kind. The chef even wears the chef’s hat! Can’t go wrong with number 1 pizza! Crust is crispy and the cheese is nice and gooey :)

Wonderful place. Great pizza, and very friendly staff. My wife and I came here for a late lunch with our 7-year old and 2-year old, and the staff was so accommodating. The chef (possibly the owner, too?) came out with our pizza himself and was very kind to our family. We also ordered garlic knots, and they were the best we've ever had. It was nice to find a place that was away from the hustle and bustle of Lake George Village but still fairly close to everything.

Ordered a large cheese pizza 🍕 the other night it was delicious! My sons also loved it. The cheese was so flavorful. Waiting until they open today to order another pizza and I want to try the mozzarella sticks 😋

I paid $40 for a large pizza with broccoli and mushrooms and a large fry. I was shocked when she said $40, no wonder they don’t print the prices on their menu. The fries weren’t cooked they were raw. The pizza barely had toppings and was very greasy and inedible. There were 2 what I thought would be garlic knots in the pizza box, not sure why but they were a slice of pepperoni in dough and hard as a rock. The complementary 4 garlic knots were hard and very salty, again not edible. I hadn’t been up there in years so I thought why not. Never again. $40 elsewhere would get me a heck of a lot more food that is actually edible.
Hidden Gem Just Outside the Village – A Must-Visit! We thought we were just stopping in for a quick slice… and ended up with a full, unforgettable Italian meal! Just minutes from the hustle of downtown Lake George, Number 1 Pizza feels like stepping into someone’s home—if that someone happens to be an incredible Italian cook. The specials drew us in, and we’re so glad they did. Everything is homemade—from the rich, savory sauce to the perfectly seasoned meatballs. The lasagna was layered with love, and the manicotti, made with delicate crepes, was hands-down the best we’ve ever had. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite. The owners are genuinely welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, and the food is the real star. This place isn’t just about pizza (though we hear that’s great too)—it’s a full-on Italian comfort food experience you won’t want to miss. If you’re in Lake George, make the short drive. We will be back!
The owners are old school. Done right. It may take a little longer than normal, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Clean and tasty. Worth the wait.
Best pizza in the region made by a real Italian chef making pizza the way it should be made

They make the best pizza ever, thin with a great crust and their toppings are the best no cheap cheese or oil dripping from the pepperoni, by far the best pizza in the area you must try it for yourself. Mac Mac Donald

Food was absolutely the worst I've had in a very long time, as I barely write reviews but felt the need to write this one. I spent almost 70 dollars on a Large pizza and 2 orders of wings. The pizza was below average at best. And the wings were absolutely terrible, and for 20 dollars a order please save your money and do not ever order here. We are staying at the campground up the road and I will forever remember never to go here.
