Amazing service and amazing food I’ve been here multiple times for sandwich’s and steaks it’s always been consistent, and perfectly seasoned. and the service I had destiny and Chris as a bartender they where fast and extremely knowledgeable about all the beverages. And alway recommend the best options for dinner. I’ve never been disappointed

We had reservations for my parent’s 40th wedding anniversary today. We arrived upstairs where we had confirmed our reservation to be, and there was a wedding and they told us to go downstairs. Upon getting downstairs the staff was extremely rude, didn’t ask our name, told us to sit wherever. We had called this week to confirm that we had reservations upstairs for the 40th wedding anniversary, and we were assured that the reservation was all set. No one even approached us from a management staff to try to right the wrong. A neighboring table told us that they had been waiting for over an hour and had no sign of getting any food. At that point we decided to get up and leave. Save yourself and do not go here, no one seems to care about the customer experience.

Never ate waitress was nasty we were expected to eat upstairs. We're never told our reservation was for downstairs! We were never even offered the menu for upstairs and the menus we were handed were filthy dirty! When someone in our party asked what kind of hard seltzer were available they were told they didn't know at that point we left ! I have recommended you restaurant to many people and now I am embarrassed! Hopefully they were not treated the same!

This is our second year for a family vacation. We had 5 cabins. First, the cabins are incredibly clean. Management is very accommodating and service is excellent. We had a wonderful time sitting by the camp fire and swimming in the lake across the road. We are coming back, it is however time to update the bathrooms.
The GM of this place has DESIGNED a system where if an inadvertent double booking (that is immediately attempted to be corrected) IS REFUSED A REFUND AND IS CHARGED IN FULL FOR THE RESERVATION. A Disgusting and disgraceful business practice which NO DOUBT refelcts on the service one would receive if a large event was booked here. STAY AWAY FROM BUSINESSES LIKE THIS LOOKING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE. G.S. 410-999-5005
I have stayed in the hotel and in a front cabin and will be back this june staying in a double cabin for Americade week. We enjoy this Resort very much as the people are great to work with and its a very clean place. The pool area and Hot Tube is in a inclosed area and outside there is a bonfire at night.
My husband and I came durning off season for our anniversary celebration . I can’t say enough good things ! The food and drinks were amazing. The food came out hot and was delicious . The atmosphere was perfect. Very clean, relaxing and welcoming. Our waitress was very polite and friendly and checked on us just enough throughout our visit to see how everything was and if we needed anything additional . We can’t wait to come again !
We have stayed at Dunhams Bay Resort for 33 years. It is a great place for a family or couples vacation. It is on the East side of the Lake so it is quiet and relaxing. They have access to the beach/lake which is a big plus for us. In addition they have a pool for those who don't like the chilly water of the late. We rent one of the housekeeping cabins and although they are older than some of the other lodging options, we love them as they have a fantastic view of the lake. The staff is wonderful and makes sure you have a great experience. Although we have a kitchette in our cabin we have eaten at the restaurant and the food is excellent. If you are staying in Lake George, I highly recommend Dunhams Bay Resort it is the best place to stay on the lake.
My daughter and I have been staying here every year for the past few years and always have a great time. Rooms are comfy and the ac's work great. There is a fire pit that the staff will light for you any time and they also provide a smores kit for purchase. Food at the restaurant is delicious. There is a small beach directly across the street and a beautiful view of the lake. It's about a 10 minute drive from the main strip (Canada Street), so very woodsy and off the beaten path. Looking forward to our next trip in July!
This is my 3rd time staying here, off season, and it’s always a pleasure. We also had an all-day business meeting. The location is great, staff friendly and the food tasty. Lynn and her team are fantastic and there for anything we need. We’ll be back!

The resort is on the east side of the Lake away from the crowds. Matt, the GM, and his staff were great hosts. We have 2 boys;5 and 12. The resort has many amenities at a bargain price which lets you spend money on other things at the Lake. Like renting a pontoon boat which we did. I highly recommend the resort.
3 of us went to Dunhams Bay Lodge for dinner on a Sunday night in August. The setting is lovely and the meals were delicious. 2 of us had scallops over succotash ( it was really a delicious mix of vegetables that included corn and black beans--- not what I think of as succotash, but delicious) topped with fried leeks. Wonderful ! The other had salmon with mashed potatoes and green beans ( his choice of sides) and he declared it delicious. We were seated at a table overlooking Dunhams Bay. Our waitress, Mandy, was attentive and pleasant and provided wonderful service. A perfect evening !
We have been vacationing in Lake George for about 18 years, every summer. This was the first time at Dunham's Bay. I was disappointed overall. Nobody advised us that we could not bring music to the beach because they do not own the beach. The info on their website states no loud music on the beach. No where did it say no music. As far as grilling, we had a short walk to the grilling area which was no problem at all. The grills were clean and easy to use. Another big disappointment was the fire pit. Understandable there is one fire pit. But to have the hotel be in control of when they want to light it was a bit too controlling. It sprinkled one of the nights we were there and at 9:30, the front desk refused to turn it on. That was very disappointing.
