If breakfast is your thing, this is the spot in Lake George. Consistently delicious with a warm, welcoming vibe and staff who really care. My wife loved the Eggcellent entrée both scrambled and over medium—eggs cooked spot-on, crispy golden hash browns, and toast that’s out of this world. The rye and sourdough are absolute standouts—perfect chew, perfect toast.

I had the sausage gravy & biscuits one day and The American Signature the next. Both were hearty, flavorful, and crave-worthy. Bottom line: this isn’t just breakfast, it’s a reason to get up early.

They communicated everything and kept their word. Even though they close at 12 we were told we would be served if we arrived before 12. Great food. Great atmosphere for us and our dog.

It starts with a long line outside. We came on a weekend so I’m not sure if it’s the same on weekdays. Waited for about 30mins for a party of 4. Once seated, we waited a while for a server to greet us or even give us water. However, once attended to, the service turned out great. Our server was attentive and nice. The atmosphere was that of the 70s. Thought it was cool. Jazzy music being played. It was kind of loud but still able to make conversations. Food was great. I had an omelette and pancakes. Regular drip coffee was unlimited.

I’ve been coming here for years. I called two weeks ago to try to place a takeout order and I was denied saying no takeout orders. I ordered two spicy Christine sandwiches today and they aren’t made like they used to be. They used to be covered in sauce, used to come with a habanero pepper on a different roll and they’re very overpriced. Two sandwiches cost me over $30. Are you kidding me right now and then the cashier was upset because it was a takeout order and I did not tip. I will never come back here again horrible service. I don’t know what changed behind the counter, but this is not how this place is run. I’m very disappointed today.

If I could give 0 for service I would. Our server, John, took out order and never returned to the table until I asked for the check. Food was standard, except the garlic Parm home fries were amazing. I asked who I thought was a manager if I could leave a tip for the bus boy who I flagged down for service 3x and was told I couldn't unless I him cash. I paid with a card and was told a portion of the top would go to the bus boy so I felt obligated to leaving a tip, which John got most of it. Not going back.
