Been going to Lake George many years. Every year we make a stop at one of our favorite restaurants. This year I guess they have a new manager as we were denied a sitting of 10. We were told there would be 2 separate tables with 2 checks and 2 servers. In addition we called and said we had 10 people. The response was come on down, we're not busy. No mention of splitting us up.
Can't believe they would turn done what I guesstimate to be a $650 bill for 10 adults. Needless to say we walked out.
I hope the manager who made this rule reads this.

Awesome food with good prices. Favorite items are the cheese bread and they used to have a lobster mac burger which is hands down the best burger I've ever had. Sad its gone. My only real complaint is I've gone several times and every time the staff is inattentive and a few times rude. Otherwise great place to get a bite to eat.

First: if you're waiting for a table, you should check to see if there's a free table in the bar area. You can eat and be served there. They have a large number of rotating local beers on tap and the bartender knows what he's doing. The atmosphere in a word is Goonies. If you haven't seen the movie because you're in your 20s, some of the atmosphere might go over your head, yet it still feels like an old time tavern.

This place was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for. We went for lunch on a Saturday. The bartender, Jess, was great. I had an espresso martini, it was amazing. Jess was friendly and attentive. We met the owner, Mark. He seems like he really cares about the customer's experience and also values his staff. If I lived closer, I'd go there often!
