A typical turn and burn joint. Way overpriced due to you paying for a lakeside view, but completely outside, so you are at the will of the weather. Is it right over the top of a kids' park and beach area, so expect some yelling and screaming lucky from a little bit of distance. The food tasted like it was all frozen, pre-breaded Sisco. Which can be fine, but the prices were not in line with the quality of food being served. Their tacos were $18 for two pre-breaded, frozen, cod tacos, which looked like a total of 3 oz of fish between them both... everything is served with a very large bunch of fries, which take it for what you want. The calamari was overcooked. And the coconut shrimp are again pre-breaded and frozen and overcooked. They were realistically 31/40 size butterflies and pounded out.

Definitely overpriced. The lobster roll tasted like a tuna fish sandwich. The hot dogs were cold. The fries were not cooked thru. The pina coladas had 0 ice considering it is labeled a frozen drink. You are paying to eat with the view which is the only thing this place has going for them.

We went to the Surfside restaurant and the the waitress gave herself a tip. She was terrible. On the recipt is says her name is Melissaa. She gave a blank stare when I asked if there was a drink menu. When I asked a second time, she pointed toward the napkins. There was a drink menu the size of a 4x6 index card in the sleeve of the condiments. Not very noticeable but okay. I ordered a black bean burger and my friend ordered a hamburger. They gave my friend the bean burger and thinking it was hers, she took the entire burger apart. She should have known isn’t wasn't her food but what happened happened. Then the server gave me the meat burger. I realized she had switched out order right as my friend went to bite into mine. When I told her she switched out orders, she stared blankly at me again. If someone touches my food I'd like it to at least to get redone. It’s my friend but as my friend put it “I basically mauled your burger. I’m so sorry”. If she had given another table the burger and then found out it was wrong, after someone pulled it all apart, would you walk it over to another table and serve it? There is definitely a health department question here. When the check came she gave herself 18% tip without informing this was going to happen. My friend questioned it and she said that was standard. NYS law says this is legal, but what is also legal is to refuse that added tip if service isn’t good. Since this is standard here it makes sense why these workers don’t work or try to put any effort into their job. Definitely a reason to stay away. Then my friend gave her a debit card to pay. The waitress asked for her pin. Why would anyone need that? You swipe it thru as credit. Something really off is going on here. It seems like a scam. This place needs to check out the staff better before hiring. I messaged the restaurant after. They told Me the food and beverage manager didn’t come until two days later and would contact me. I received the call but it was by far the worst customer service experience of my life. The manager called and immediately started screaming at me. She started by saying what I said about Melissa was “uncalled for” and “unfair”. She said that she had video and my burger was cut in half (which it wasn't and I never said it was, so I tend to believe the "video" they have doesn’t exist). As the conversation went on which was only the manager getting louder and louder and going on and on about how horrible I am (at this point I have said “hi” and “yes this is she”). After the third time of asking her calmly "why are you yelling?" I had to hang up. It blows my mind that a manager of a business would go out of there way, after two days, to call up someone just to scream at them. This person obviously just wanted to yell at me. Immediately after the call I opened the messaged on Facebook, I had written, and it was blank... so they either blocked me before this "manager" call or immediately after. It seems like it must have been before because she knew she was going to yell at me. To make matters even worse this person proceed to email me the rest of the night, harassing me and calling me names. They used the term “Karen” which is completely sexist. Apparently I am a Karen and want to eat at the place for free. This is literally over $5. Is the place hurting that badly that they need to scream at random people so they can hold on to their $5 unearned tip? I have paid $100s for one meal tasting menus. I can afford a $20 bill. The harassment this place is astonishing. Please spend your money ANYWHERE else. The food is average. It’s edible. It could most likely be microwaved, not terrible for the price. I reviewed them with the BBB and apparently it’s standard for them to block people before they call them about a complaint. Interesting…

When the check came she gave herself 18% tip without informing this was going to happen. This is so inappropriate. My friend questioned it and she said that was standard. That didn't happen last time we ate here. Seems like she knew she gave awful service and wanted to make sure she got tipped. Then my friend gave her a debit card to pay. The waitress asked for her pin. Why would anyone ever need that? You swipe it thru as credit. Something really off is going on here. It seems like a scam. The food was cold. My buffalo chicken sandwich cheese was not even melted. The French fries were barely warm. The onion rings were great and hot.

We ordered take out from here our bill came to $51 I checked our account and it was processed for $69! They added an $18 tip without my consent for a take out order not even sit down. We did leave a tip but not that much. I did not notice unfortunately until I was home from my vacation. I am going to be calling but I doubt anything will be done. I would've given 1 star but I gave 2 because the lady who took our order was very nice and the food we got was good.

Go here! We found this place on google maps and decided to take a chance and we were so glad we did. It’s a hidden gem. You have to walk through the surfside hotel grounds to get to it. Staff were very friendly, views are beautiful, and the food was delicious. We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their meals.

This is an outdoor dining area only but what a view you have while eating. The service was quick, the food good, the price right and the company great. It is at the back of the hotel so you really wouldn't know it was there unless you stayed there which we did or were local

I would come here again slowly to hang out with the bartender, Kevin, and to drink his delicious cocktails. It was our first stop in Lake George and it really set the tone for a good weekend. He even gave us great recommendations for restaurants that we literally tried to eat at all of them. Thanks for the kickoff!

Came for lunch and got the coconut shrimp and a frozen Pina Colada. Very good! Serving size is generous, and service was friendly and fast. Plus nice view of the lake and beach activities.

Great bartender but the service was terrible. Staff was rude and added a gratuity after I got my bill and gave them my card without my knowledge. I asked about why my receipt was higher and was given a terrible attitude (as if I wouldn’t tip). They left the tip option there but never thought to tell me they added it. Sounds illegal to me. Avoid this place.
