Went there over Christmas...staff,manager and bartender all great. Had chili and pulled pork sandwich. If you want comfort food, this is it.

My daughter and I went to dinner here, it was a short walk across the street from our hotel. In all the years I've gone to Lake George, I never even knew it existed. What a nice surprise. We both LOVED our dinner and appetizers! We had the fried onion petals (best I've ever had!) and mozzarella sticks - they were "small plates" and were only $5 each. We each had a cocktail, also only $5 each! For dinner we had the sliced tenderloin of beef which came with red bliss mashed potatoes and French green beans. My daughter couldn't stop raving about it! Everything was absolutely delicious and our server was very attentive. Definitely going back next time we're in Lake George.

Great first experience for a meal! Had breakfast and the food was good! Most of the staff serving were wearing gloves which during Covid is important to us, really appreciated that. They were under renovation so they did a buffet style for eating. Only thing I wish for that was they they either had sanitizer or food gloves Available to use for customers at the buffet.Would definitely go back for more food their next changes we get!

The website is full of inaccuracies.. the breakfast was nothing compared to the pictured, instead u got cold buffet food, rubbery eggs & barely cooked sausage! We had to ask for another room as our first room had mold in the bathroom & months worth of dust on the lights along with holes in the wall! The mountainview rooms are not mountain view but view of the parking lot! The food at the Look out cafe is horrendous, I’ve had better food at a fair! The security or lack there of is concerning. All side doors that supposedly required key cards were all unlocked so that anyone can get it! Week or so before our reservation I asked if I could upgrade to a king fireplace & was told no as they were booked. My husband had to go up to the reception desk for something and was there when another guest asked for same upgrade & got it!! And let’s not forgot on a Saturday of our visit we couldn’t even enjoy the bar or outdoor seating due to a wedding! Totally not worth the over $650 I paid for the romantic getaway package and it was not romantic at all!! Disgusted

The hotel is in a great location. There is a beautiful view right out the back door. It could use some updating for sure. Overall though, we had a wonderful stay. I’d like to give a shout out and thanks to the front desk concierge Merissa. She was very eager to help us. A great personality with great attention to any needs my cousins and I had. Fort William Henry Hotel- Merissa should get a hefty raise! She goes above and beyond for guests!

My husband and I are impressed by the quality of the rooms, the atmosphere and views. We were treated like we were their only customers. All the staff are friendly. Love the veranda overlooking the Lake. Everything is within walking distance. Beautifully decorated. - Jim and Judy Hulsebus Rutland, Vermont
