UpRiver Cafe' is worth the drive for the view, the great meal and excellent service. Restaurant has outside eating overlooking the Hudson River. Service is very, very good. Food is well-priced and ample.

I had the pleasure of dining at the upriver cafe this past weekend. note: due to covid reservation are required and only outside dining is available. The location is clean inviting and has a stunning view from it's outside deck. All staff members wore masks at all times and were kind attentive and wonderful. This really is a wonderful and amazing location full of amazing friendly staff. Tables are spaced wide and in observant of social distancing. you can tell that they could have squeezed in more people but are following the covid recommendations. Our food was delicious served quickly and with care. It was a magical experience in a wonderful setting and I highly recommend it. We even ordered take out on another day because we liked the food so much and knew the staffs respect of masks and covid traslated across all of the food prep process. Even if your thinking of take out it is highly recommended. I saw the chef and he was attentive and kind to all of customers needs. This is a rare gem and work the trip. Prices were reasonable, and the deserts were amazing. Please do yourself a favor and go, enjoy a stunning view as you enjoy a wonderful meal surrounded by wonderful staff and embrace all of the best of the Adirondacks in one wonderful restaurant. I had been there two years ago and i am impressed that they not only maintained but improved their service and food especially in light of the covid pandemic. If your still reading this... stop and get a reservation do yourself a favor. if you can't get a reservation order take out and enjoy eating in one of the small parks located near by with stunning views in walking distance.

This is a treasure. An amazing dining experience with a stunning view. The food was amazing and reasonable. The staff is incredible, kind, helpful and attentive. The food once again is amazing. I would recommend it for everyone or anyone. Do yourself the favor take the trip out of the way and enjoy. Due to covid they are seating outside but reservations are required. The staff all wore masks, and seating was spaced to respect social distancing. Everytime I have been here it was and has been a joy.
