We were here at Al E Oops yesterday with another couple. There were already a party of 9 there so loud, we felt our eardrums would pop. When we asked the waitress if we could move, she seemed annoyed . But we moved anyway. The acoustics were terrible and magnified every sound. The bench seats were so low compared to the table that a short person would have a hard time sitting in them. I guess the place was remodeled by a tall person. Then when we placed our order the waitress ( who looked about 80 ) took our order. We asked her to split the bill for 2 couples. She said that she couldn't do that without adding a surcharge. Never heard that one before . But she finally did split the bill for 2 couples but was annoyed doing it. Then a man plopped some bread and cornbread on the table and didn't even speak. The food wasn't too bad. The spare ribs melted off the bone but the sauce they use was a little spicy, but still good. The rest of the meal was good. But nothing that wowed me! Anyway, we won't be going back there again. Especially when the staff makes customers feel unwelcome or like we were bothering them.

The chicken and ribs combo we consider to be one of the best in the wny area. Tonight we had the scallops and wing and ribs party of 4
Everything was amazing.
Our waitress was very courteous and helpful.

Service was good but the food was bad first the pop was syrupy and when I told her that she goes yeah that’s how it normally is here. Ok fine I switch to water. Then I got the Japanese breaded fish and it was not good at all can tell it’s old fish. The final break for us was we went to use the ketchup on our fries and it was spoiled and was on half our fries. Sadly this place used to be so good but this is the second crappy trip. I love to support local smaller places and this isn’t one and would tell you to choose else where.
I really wanted the smoked turkey, but they were out. I had the smoked ham instead and it was delicious and a huge portion. Sweet potatoes fries, Baked beans and coleslaw for sides. Very filling. Cornbread was great. Our waitress, Jolene, was fantastic. The BBQ Chicken was moist and tasty. I will be back to get the Turkey and see Jolene again.

The food was very good but the service was lousy. 1 person took our order, 1 person brought us the order which was fine. After we got our meals no one checked on us ( and we did have a need). We were passed by several times and no one checked on us. We waited forever to get our check. We had to ask for the check from a third person. Then our original waitress finally came to the table and asked us if we were done? Our plates were taken away and she asked us if we were done. We have never had such bad service anywhere.

Chicken was over cooked and bad flavor, pulled pork was mediocre, ribs were good.
I placed a take out order at 5pm, was told it would be ready at 6pm. I ended up having to wait more than an additional 30 minutes before it was ready. I waited patiently, never pestering any of the staff. When I was finally called to the bar to get my order, the person checking me out gave me attitude and said "normally they don't take orders that late!" I told her I ordered at 5pm, I was bewildered because they're open until 9:00. pm. A number of the patrons that passed me as they were leaving and noticed I had been waiting sometime mentioned. They were also displeased with slow service and poor quality for food.
Don't dine in or take out here if you're in a hurry and I wouldn't recommend anything other than the ribs.

Not sure why they have 4.3 stars , the service was horrible and we got left alone most of the time barely seeing our waitress. Food is very very bland no seasoning on chicken or potatoes. Potato skins were super dry and felt like they were leftovers reheated in a microwave. If you want good bbq do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

not going to lie, i totally forgot about this place and was just googling places for takeout near me from my current location and Al-E-Oops came up. I thought 'why not' and ended up getting the steak sandwich. Food is incredible.
I got takeout but the brief time I spent with staff on the phone and picking up my order was great. She was amazingly kind and polite. Very awesome service and makes sense this place has been around as long as I can remember!

Meats were good. Didn't care for the sides offered with my selection. Just a choice of Ceasar salad or chef salad. May try again with a different meat and side selection.
