Boston Hotel's Steak & Crab

we went to the Boston hotel restaurant for Good Friday dinner. There was a little bit of a mix-up with our order and we had to wait for a little while. The owner came up to us and did more than enough to make it right and make up for it. We were so appreciative of his kindness, generosity and many apologies he gave. Bravo for being such a class act and we cannot thank you enough again for your generosity and making it up to us. We will most definitely be coming back and telling everyone what a class act you are!

Delicious food and reasonably priced.

This poor place has been on my list to visit for many years. Unfortunately I must have missed it's glory. The food was bland, the service was poor and the restaurant itself needs to be condemned. It's a cash only place with an ATM upfront with a $2 fee plus whatever your bank will charge you. There are no substitutions allow on any item not even for an uncharge (I asked for a side salad instead of a potato and veggies the dinner came with). The bar was full of people at 3pm on a Thursday mid day. Drunken men that made me feel uncomfortable being in the next room trying to eat a meal. Sorry for such a ramble. I was so disappointed.

Not what it used to be. The service, however, was very good. Still a relaxed place. But the food just isn't good. Stuffed haddock was tasteless, steak was just ok, clams casino were good. Sadly, we won't be back after coming back for many years.

Second time here and so far, no disappointments. The owner is great, the bartender is great, and our waitress Mckenzie! I'm never disappointed here.

6 months of being closed, and the place is still dated with paper posters in frames and cobwebs everywhere. Salt n pepper shakers covered in grime. Not one piece of flatware matched or the tines of any fork straight. Clams casino dripping enough that I could pour it out. The green onion was the exciting part of the casino. We were served plastic plates for our appetizer. My well awaited fish fry was middle class. The surff and turf was served with what seemed like frozen mixed vegetables. The steak didn't have any complaints after. The second attempt at med temperature. I'm assuming the crab legs were cooked in a steam oven. So those are hard to mess up. I can put money on the so called clarified dipping butter is from a jug, no flavor. I'd wish for an updated cleaner more restaurant feel for spending that kind of money.

Great clams and lobster, but just ok, steak and warm beer

Had lunch there today, chicken breast with spinach. Way too hard to eat. Flavor was great, but overcooked. Now at home to the blender......

Parking: Ample parking right to the entrances

I heard good things about this place. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t the best. My dates steak was over cooked and the fish fry made me sick. The place is pretty run down and they don’t take credit cards…..cash only

Hole in the wall place. The prime rib had absolutely no flavor. Worst I've had in my life so far. My fiance got the sirlion steak. She couldn't even eat it bc there was no seasoning. It was so bland. Seafood was good. Oh, and only 2 small salt potatoes on her plate...

Southern Shrimp - Good
Clam Casino - salty and soggy.
Prime Rib - worst I've ever had no flavor
Sirloin Steak - No flavor or seasoning (use choice cuts)
Snow Crab - Good
Vegetables - waste of a dish (definitely frozen)

The establishment is also Cash only. Not noted anywhere in the establishment.

Will not be back.

Better off going to Texas roadhouse or outback steakhouse

We went for dinner right around 5 o'clock. Got sat fast. Waitress wasn't overly friendly. Clams casino were ok...but we're salty and soggy. I got the sirloin with crab legs. Crab was delicious. Steak was disgusting absolutely no seasoning and so many tendons it was hard to cut. My Fiance got the prime rib which again had no seasoning and was the worst meat he had ever had in a restaurant. Found out after dinner that they were cash only. Not signs at all stating that on the menu or in the dining room.

Hand written check, but told us they can't do separate checks. Had warm water said could not put ice in water. Fish was over cooked, and lobster tail was very rubberier.
