Heard so much about this restaurant, came recommended. First-time there, not impressed. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Order took too long to come out. Tried the special. Sauce had metal taste. Lemon container on table was sticky. Had heartburn after eating that meal. Sorry to say won't recommend or go back.

You probably wont get the best service, but the food is outstanding. I usually get the crab leg special which always has a good amount of meat in the legs. The two locations only accept cash which is a pain to have to grab cash for a dinner night. I'd recommend both locations.

We arrived at Boston Hotel right before it became busy. Hostess seated us immediately and let us choose the table. Our server was friendly and prompt. Cocktails were ordered. Bloody Mary for my husband and I chose the ice cold blue moon. My husband said it was the worse bloody mary he ever had. Lobster dainties slit broiled were ordered for the appetizer and were delicious. It was a long wait for the kitchen to have our entree ready. My husband ordered the steak medium. It was delivered rare. My crab meal was delicious and cooked to perfection. The home made French fries were excellent. We ordered 2 cheese cake with cherries to take home. Home made! And did not disappoint. Crab was not served with lemon only butter and no wet towlets but enough napkins were provided. The cost of the crab entree was excellent and I received huge claws and enough to bring a few home.

My first time there. I want to say that the food was excellent. I had prime rib medium rare and it was actually medium rare. It was extremely tender. My wife and cousin had crab legs , clams casino and steamed clams. All of which they loved. Our server Kim was extremely friendly and attentive. We had our 10 month old Granddaughter with us and Kim took the time to talk to the baby too.She even asked me if I wanted more hot au-jus when she figured mine was getting cold. Most places I have to ask for that. I highly recommend this place if you want some great food and ask for Kim, because I know you will get the best possible service. I even met the owner on my way out and let him know how good everything was. He was very happy for the positive feedback. We will be going back next time we are in Buffalo.

Let me start out by saying normally love this place but lunch there on Saturday was a bit aggravating. The menu clearly lists your choice of soup, Mac salad or coleslaw with lunch specials. I ordered a chicken sandwich with soup and server promptly said we only have clam chowder and you can't have that with lunch, then asked for Mac salad and server's response was we are out of Mac salad. Leaving me with only coleslaw as an option. I asked if I could sub fries and pay extra if needed and was told no. Why could I not have the soup? You list three choices with only one available and you can't give me fries even after I offered to pay extra? Do us all a favor and add fries as a choice.

Three of us had dinner at the bar last night and it was amazing. Friendly bartender, who mixes a great drink btw. Loved the special chicken Rockefeller! Boyfriend's scallops were amazing. Apps of raw clams and clams casino delicious too! Owner was friendly and welcoming. Great casual place, great food and service...can't ask for much more! Thank you!
