If you are a mac and cheese lover. Cannot beat Mooney's. It's a nice place you walk in the front door, the bar is to the left. The restaurant is to the right. TVs everywhere. Maybe it's because im not from here, but i dont understand the hype of it.. My husband was stern with his love for this place - "the food is amazing! I LOVE their mac and cheese!" And so on. So we went for date night. He got buffalo mac and cheese, and i got chicken tenders. Apparently, pizza logs are a huge thing in WNY?But everything that was served, aside from the drinks, seemed to be stuff you would get from your own freezer at home. This place is the definition...
We saw the sign about Mac and cheese on our way to work... And stopped that evening lol. It was quite good. HUGE portion! As in we have eaten off it 3x! We got pizza rolls for an app, also good. My husband got the stinger Mac and I got chicken, bacon ranch Mac. I was stuffed and ate maybe 1/4?! We had some for lunch today, and there plenty for dinner left! Staff all very friendly. Food was out at a good pace too.
