I ordered a BBQ Chicken Finger Sub from Picasso’s and was very specific about the pickup time. Timing matters when it comes to fried food—it needs to be eaten fresh to stay crispy. Unfortunately, this sub tasted like it had been sitting out for 20–30 minutes before I arrived.
For context: I unwrapped the sub and took my first bite right in the parking lot. I didn’t wait until I got home, because I know that fried food only holds up for so long. And even right then, it was obvious they made it way too early. The chicken had lost all its crunch, the roll was soft and not toasted like it usually is, and they completely drowned it in BBQ sauce. It overpowered everything.
For nearly $20, this was a big letdown. I barely got through a couple bites before tossing it.
If you're offering timed orders, prepare them for the pickup time—not just whenever it’s convenient for the kitchen. Especially in Buffalo, where a Chicken Finger Sub is a staple, this should be done right. Take more pride in your food.

It’s the best pizza. I love the crispy crust. There not skimpy on toppings. Staff works hard and are polite and efficient in a chaotic environment at times when they are busy.

We ordered for pickup and it originally said it would be ready in about 30 minutes. My mom and I didn’t realize we were so close to the restaurant and got there in about 5-10 minutes. We went inside and let them know we were there early and even though they were clearly busy as it was peak dinner rush, they busted our subs out in about 5 minutes!! While waiting for our subs (that were incredible) we ordered two pepperoni slices and they kindly gave us four for the price of two.
The pizza was some of the best I’ve had and so were the subs. Not sure if their sub rolls are homemade, but they were delicious. The extra sauce they gave us for the subs were so good as well, but sure what it was but we were big fans. The pizza wasn’t too greasy, and it was so crunchy. Again, probably the best I’ve had. Also, really great pricing. Will definitely come back!!

Had some pizza to pick up for a 1st birthday! Second pie took a little longer so they hooked us up with breadsticks. It was awesome and a crowd pleaser. Should have ordered them in the first place! Great service and great employees.

We spent almost 80 dollars on dinner for my wifes birthday and when we got home with it, it was RAW and covered in grease. When I called and asked for a refund they said that they couldn't do that. Never again
I order from Picassos all the time and the food is consistently great!!

When I say this pizza and wings were absolutely perfect they were !!!!! I finally after 3 orders got extra sauce on the pizza. The char bbq wings were also covered in BBQ sauce. It finally reassured me that Picassos is my first choice instead of joeys or 1000 other pizza places. LANCASTER PICASSOS did it 100% the other locations especially Union Road simply never listens. Broadway location who delivers in Cheektowaga is TOP NOTCH
